Logo Design - what defines a good logo from an amazing logo?

Hi all -
just wondering do you have an inspiration, thoughts, ideas etc on how to make an iconic logo?
I've been designing logos for small to medium size businesses for just over a year - but how do you create something that will be memorable?

Hi,

Just understand the client requirements and then do brainstorm to find concept in the name itself. Client are always prefer simplicity and concept other any effects used.

you will know it right when you design it...
