So many details, I don't even dare to guess how much time you have to spend to make something similar. This man is really talanted, it's interesting to see such a great works that make me say "Wow".

I don't see why you wouldn't just use a 3D program to that.. after all, you can change the lighting/angles at any time. :p

Anyways, thats just my opinion... this is pretty amazing for Illustrator, though.

That is great. I wouldn't have the time of day to do such an intricate design in illustrator.

These are made to scale a bigger picture without loosing detail.

A 3d you need to make the whole thing in 3d where you need to have pictures from each sides and each part to get it all perfect, instead of tracing part and shines of only this picture. And when you are done saving it is no problem while 3d if you want to have it for a giant billboard you be waiting hours till it is done with rendering.

But these skills are pretty good if you know this because you can make great web3.0 or 3d or realistic colored logo. I am learning this too but it is a very tedious and boring process. But good to do it allot to get learn to do the process faster and faster.

I agree

Shadow is not good enough I guess..and the contrast of the instrument has a little problem..but still a great work...

Actually, while we are all commenting on the photorealism of his designs, I must say I'm impressed with his Mucha reproductions. Well, not much originality, but it's nice to see a graphic design classic revitalized!

dream

I like Mucha's artwork. Perhaps the most ripped-off artist in concert poster design. At least Yukio makes a blatant copy, but with attention to detail that shows he loves the original.

This guy is amazing! It's really good to see such a thing done with Illustrator, since we have a Photoshop world out there!
