Another wow from me, yes. So here are the contemporary masters of realism. I can see the use of this in a field like industrial design, where a realistic image of an envisioned product can just make the difference in having the client go for it. But yeah, it must be an artistic statement about the insignificance of time and futility of human action to draw a cabbage that way.

I wonder if there are landscapes done like this.

i cant even wrap my mind around how this is done and the amount of time put into creating those. i recently started using illustrator and that def inspires me to do amazing work. so great. i love it

just noticed you posted a tutorial. thanks! :) very interested in learning how to use this. in my illustrator class the teacher told use very briefly what the gradient mesh tool is but we dont get to use it in class so this tutorial will help me learn

yes, you are right, its kind of pointless...there so many vectors, half of them could be enough to create good output, what do you think? but its great :)certainly
