I like.....
the * *(asterisk) look out of place......
and the type needs some major kerning...but I really like the interlocked ad....:)

The S looks very odd. The logo is too far apart from the name.

+ I'm with rinaldi about the asterisksesses...lose 'em.

+ I also like the interlocked a & d.

+ The colours seem to me, very suited to the name and look of the logo. Well done.
Honey, I got rhythm that I haven't used yet.

Also look at the kerning cause it is different from each letter. Make them be the same. And use a other S cause it look like it is shrunk.

I like it too..... but I like it first, perhaps a couple of years ago ...

Since I designed it I must like it, right? :) http://www.antidivida.pt/

and also here you'll see the whole concept in action: http://www.designcon...read.php?t=4451 that leads here: http://pvdesign.com...._antidivida.png

"arctic designs" is hard to read separately. looks like one word with two different colors. try a bit to differentiate them. Interlocking A and D is interesting.! keep working.

At first look, I saw some real potential in the logo, But I really must agree with guetizo, this is really very similar in nature to what has been done.. Though I believe all good ideas come around again and again, i.e. the swoop for an example, I mean how many ways can you really make a swoop original, this design is so close it makes me wonder. Just my two cents...

Hi arctic snpr,
maybe try to play a little bit with the colours at the combination point of the two letters(maybe make a negative space) and if you placed the stars to say shining go further and play with it more.

Yes, as roro1 said. Maybe you can try an intersecting shape with positive and negative of the same letters ... some more morphologic shaping ... the symbol is the same type as the logotype but bold and a little bit larger. You need more than that to get an interesting logo that completes the logotype.

By the way ... the "* *" are not helping either ... :)

Good work... Concept is clean and readable. But the type really needs some major kerning ;-)

"S" and "n" looks like aren't the same typograpy from the rest of the word, some are too wide some looks too thin. Good luck!

Cool concept. I like the colors you used. What kind of feeling were you going for? The colors you used are almost ironic to the name -arctic - because I get like a mellow, but warm connotation from them, if that makes any sense.

I agree with the others that the font is a little weird - maybe some other sans serif font would look better. Also, I like the little ** because they're like snowflakes but they need to be reworked/incorporated into the design - maybe play with those; put them as dots to the 'i's... something.

Also, the interlocking a/d is too far from the rest of the logo. You might want to try playing around with enclosures if you want to keep them distant - like a box around the entire logo would make the symbol and wording come together. Or, 'box'(not necessarily square or rectangle) one of the elements and bring them a little closer together.

Keep playing! You'll get it.

Great colors and concept, lots of kerning work to do and the s looks weird, i dont know why but it looks weird to me, try to kerning artic designs leaving a little space between the 2 words

i agree with what a bunch of people said in that the logo and artic designs need to be spaced closer together.
