Greetings,
First of all I would like to say hi to all, Im a new member as of a couple days ago and love the work you guys do for logos and etc.
Does anyone have any good tutorials on graphics design, such as logos and id's.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS only. I do have Adobe Illustrator CS but after trying to learn PS for so long i get extremely lost when i open Illustrator lol. Anyways Im looking for tutorials on vector images and how to make them, what programs, and maybe what the standards for making logos in PS is.
Currently I use a 800x800pixel workarea with 300dpi for my logos. My only problem is if a customer ever wants their logo blown up for larger publications such as billboards I have no idea what to do hehe.
Anyways my portfolio is at http://www.tommywhit.../portfolio.html
Its not up today be it gives you a general idea.
Thanks in advance,
Tommy White
PS Happy New Years!

For logos, I suggest using Illustrator. After using the program for a little bit, it is not difficult to pick up on it. I am sure if you do a google search, you can find several illustrator tutorials. I would always look at the tutorials that come with the program first though as they show you the basics and give you a basic feel for the program.
