He is the better if you have a portable version, with not instalation, because he is a fast, and save the project in all versions of Corel Draw, have the new tools for manipulation, and have a good proportions for 3D manipulation with 3D objects.

You can try it for free and see what's new. Than you can decide is it better for you to migrate or stay on a previous version. But I think that if you have the idea in your mind, you can create it even in Corel Draw 10 :)
Another new version is coming up soon so better wait a while.

You're right. I'll try it. I have some doubts becouse I started to use this program in version 9 and i liked it. But versions 12 and x3 really sucks.

I'm currently using X6 but in all honesty, version 12 is the most stable for speed designers. The font list drop-down list dosent hang that much as compared to newer versions. But hey, I guess we gotta move with the times. I however love the fact that when you are editing a powerclip container, you can see a toned down visual of elements out of the container. Oh, and yeah, the fact that edit powerclip, extract contents commands etc at at your disposal coz they appear and disappear when you are dealing with a powerclip. Kudos to CorelDRAW.

I like the Corel X6, because I can to create good logos with 3D style and recolor in Illustrator-the best results that I am ever seen is on that X6 versions. That how is the product more modern and power, I have some logos that I am recolor and reconstruct in Illustrator form Corel X6 as EPS, and I have a good results, I like that!

X6 is more fast, not the problem with work to combinations form Illustrator to Corel, or Corel to Illustrator, that is the old "not respording problem, it can the nervous the man", but not in X6.

X6 in my pc is really slow. I had X4 earlier which was fast. And for features, there is not too much of a difference. So, if you are really comfortable with your current version of the software, I would suggest that you stay with it for some time.

Corel X6 is really good. It gave better graphic and not really "not responded" as it brothers x5 or x4.
It you encounter with not responded in Corel x6. Do not install too many fonts.
Click on Tools --> Options ---> Workspace/Save... On the right choose specific folder (Browse it to the folder/drive which has large space).

I worked with Corel X6, but never seemed so stable as X5 and X4 in regards exports, working at scale. Now I returned to X5 which at least for me is more than satisfactory.
