U.S. President George Bush visits a school and explains his politicalactions. Afterwards he invites the children to ask him questions. Little Bob rises to speak: Mr. President, I have got three questions to ask:

1. How did you win the election although you had less votes than Gore?

Just in that moment the bell for the break rings and the children run out of the classroom. When they come back from the break President Bush encourages them again to ask questions.

hmmmmm that was nice..... people get confused and hate each other well... i dont hate the countries that went to war nor the people live in it..., its those reall decadent dictators such as G.W and T.B .... tut tut their the ones giving out orders... u see i'm from the UK and the majority here said no to war but u know what...? Mr. Bigtimer T.B still went... so he really dosent like listening to his own people... oh well thats dictatorship!

This might make me unpopular but....

The following appeared in the Durham, NC local paper as a letter to the
editor. This will put things in perspective:

Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They
complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was
the worst president in U.S. history.

Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to
remember, it was started by terrorists on 9/11. Let's look at the "worst"
president and mismanagement claims.

FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us. Japan did. From
1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never
attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333
per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never
attacked us. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975,
58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never
attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times
by the Sudan and did nothing Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated
two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear
inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and
captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost 600
soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not
allowing another terrorist attack at home.

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch
Davidian compound. That was a 51 day operation.

We have been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time
than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the
Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after
his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida !!!!!

Our Military is Great!

THESE ARE THE FACTS... MEDIA LIBERALS KNOW THEM. It is no secret as to why they don't want to point out these facts.

bjmillican, these are facts, but I am afraid presented from one point of view only. I don't claim I can present any other point of view, I am not an American and I never been to this wonderful country, however it comes to my mind first that 9/11 happened at the very time of GWB reign. It doesn't mean much, you just didn't mention it.

I actually found the article this article posted really interesting. Of course I do have very strong opinions on the entire subject. As a quick background, my husband is a captain in the US Army. I'm originally from New York, and was there during the 9/11 attacks - although fortunately not close to the World Trade Center and luckily the people that I did know that were there managed to survive. We have lost two close friends from the war in Iraq, and my husband was in Afghanistan for eight months following 9/11 - so all of this is really close to home for me personally.

The problem as I see it is the media - they don't always show all sides of every story, therefor not allowing the masses to make informed opinions, taking in all of the facts. The media "selectively" informs the public, skewing those stories to whatever slant they want. Although I have really strong opinions on this subject, I will choose to keep them to myself because after all, we're all entitled to our own opinions. My hope is just that everyone will become more informed before coming to their own conclusions about why we're in the war, and about our current presidents actions.

I believe this: it isn't important who starts a war but how many brothers (allies of foes) die for the will of people that never stepped in a battlefield.

This is what I believe and belongs to JMStraczynski, a writer I admire a lot, hope day by day people start to believe this too or we are doom as a race:

Why keep them to yourself? Part of the entitlement of having an opinion is actually expressing it too.

I myself have upset many people with my beliefs on the Bush administration, but it hasn't stopped me from expressing my thoughts.

I just don't feel that this is an appropriate place to voice my opinion on the subject. I think that there's a time and place for everything. Although I tend to be rather outspoken and opinionated, I choose where to make my statement, and I just don't feel that this is the appropriate forum for the subject.
