Hello. I propose to consider a new type of payment using cryptocurrency. It is more cheaper and faster compared with paypal or card.

And according to lows of my country they can't to pay me in dollars( this is very sad. For example I'll get money on paypal and they use their exchange rates, which I can't see before I'll want withdraw money.

The value of bitcoin floats and would involve another level of conversion. (it is a commodity subject swings in value)

if started, you would have to use other crypto currencies all well..etherium et. al.

it would lead to a new level of mass confusion involving what would be small potatoes in that world.

It would invite more scammers wishing to move untraceable cash around.

DC is not a crypto bank.

The price of Bitcoin transaction floats

https://arstechnica....e-skyrocketing/

recently it was up to $26 per transaction.

just saying...

Yes, value of bitcoin floats how exchange rates on paypal! For example DC will send me 80$ on paypal, but I'll get only 75$ in my currency, which all time down and down. If have possibility to get prize in dollars I wouldn't say about this. And in which way to get money will be designer decision. We can you Tron, but not Bitcoin. Fast and cheap transactions.

Someday there will be a stable, universal, transaction free, digital currency, just not today.

Maybe after we all get chipped implants.

Transactions in crypto never will be free. But right now people can get their prizes. If you don't understand how it works, it's doesn't mean that we have to wait chipping. Crypto came in our life. I explained why I want get prize in crypto, but not in dollars - I lose big sum, using paypal.

I don't think crypto will ever be a payment option. It will cost you too much much money. Any fee the crypto will cost DC will be subtracted from your payout. That fee can be considerable

Again crypto is not going to be a payout option

Sorry

Nope. Fees are not big. For example paypal withdraw fee 2% but they won't can give me my prize in dollars, they will exchange it in ruble. For example if I'll win prize 223$, I'll pay 2% for withdrawing on paypal. I'll get 218.5. But If l'll want withdraw my money to my card, paypal will exchange it using their rates and I'll get only 206$!

If you will send me in crypto, fee will be max 5$, and then I'll change it in dollars and get it in dollars on my card without any fees.

Study this question better my friends!

Again We will not be paying designers with crypto payments, you are also forgetting the fees charged to us and that would have to be passed on to you the designer.  any way this will not be a payment option

Thank you

Not for nothing, every money transaction or payment process service has own fees, whether is for sender or receiver, or both. Nowhere in the world is for free.

Agreed, but crypto give us a chance to dump transaction fees down. I think you don't understand my trouble, cuz you don't understand crypto and get you prize in dollars. Recently I bought tron coins and sent it from one exchange to another and almost didn't pay for this. With paypal I pay 3 times, to withdraw from this site, to withdraw from paypal ruble, cuz they don't let get in dollars, and 3rd time when I exchange ruble to dollars... and lose at least 30$ for this. Do you think it is normal?

@Toshik

At this moment in time, crypto is a steaming brown pile of trouble.

No one wants to step in it, let alone eat it.

Let it go.

At some future date it may stabilize into something boring, respectable, and reliable.

Right now it is too speculative and the winning currency in the field is not clear.

There is no guarentee that some won't turn into Zimbabwe currency.

Foriegn exchange rates are a problen, they just arn't DC'c problem.

If you wan to trade in currency see: https://www.forex.com

This is a hassle that DC just dosn't need.

Sorry, it is not happening here.

There is nothing to discuss.

This thread is due to end.

Agreed, but it have to be my decision which way I would like to get my prize. For example now I have less then 50$ on my account and can't get them.. I don't know why. But think because paypal has big fees.. so I suggested new way withdrawing. More cheaper..

I don't want to be rude, but it is also your decision to use the crowd site you like, whether your choice is based on the payment option or something else.

I am using PayPal on every design site, and I pay fees, not only to PayPal but to my bank as well, as I can not receive dollars as you think. So, yes - I loose too, but that's how it goes. Also, all of the payment we receive from abroad from now on we need to pay a state tax for - so, more to loose.

I am not sure about this, but I think many countries has the same payment system, where you can not chose money value (dollar, euros, etc) if transaction goes on your bank account - it converse to your country money value.

Speaking of the payment options and fees, the reason I appreciate DC is great minimum prize for designer (for example - logo contest is minimum $223), no service fees for designers (for example - one site has additional deduction fees of %15 from the prize), fast and secured payment.
