I really like your site. As I told you already, I think it’s very delicate and nice. And, from how I’ve seen, I think it represents you and your spirit. That’s my opinion. :)

Thanks ruxique! It's always nice to hear a kind word or two.
What I am wondering though is if it looks professional at all or still like a personal page? I'm trying to make it look professional but still not a clone of the high tech world. I want it to be "my" site and not just one of the crowd of others! :)

I have one advice for you.
To put a button on your portfolio (the flash movie) to return back to the main site. Because once you opened the movie, it's no way to go back to the site, without reloading it.

OOps, I found the back button. It's your logo. Sorry.
Maybe you can put a mouseover text to say "Home", just for people like me :p

I looked at the article you referred to in your source comments (Night of the Image Map) because the links on the "about" page wouldn't work. It looks like your positioning is correct on some pages and off on others. It is way off on the "about" page, slightly off on at least one other page. (I moved the mouse around until I found where the link was, then I pressed and held the mouse button to see the outline of the area).

Hi browncat,

What browser and what screen resolution are you using? This may have some effect. At 1024 X 768 in IE6 they are where they are supposed to be, but they could be different in other browsers or resolutions.

Thanks for your comment. I hope you reply so I can fix it.

Browncat is right, I didn't notice that from the begining. Some links on "About Me" page doesn't work. And I don't think is because of the resolution, because on the rest of the pages are working.

I was using AOL 5.0 when viewing before, probably 1024
x 768. Today I amusing IE6.0 at 1024 X 768. I don't know if you have changed the positions, but I am getting different results today. Today the "about" links line up, but the ones on the index page don't. I didn't check the other pages.

I like your green color. It looks good on my monitor, but I have noticed big differences in the way colors look on different monitors.

I tested it out for yah, NS7 and IE6 at 1152x864 and 800x600. The links were off in IE6@1152, they were about 20px too high on the page compared to the graphics. NS7 was fine @1152 suprisingly (NS is always a pain in the ass). I noticed in both cases the site was off center horizontally, bit much to the left, I dunno if that's your intention or not. Both had good links @800, but both also had very large scrollbars in either direction.

Thanks,

I guess I'll have to go back to the site and look for a fix. :(

The original author of the idea used absolute positioning and I used relative. Maybe that's it. I tried it in absolute though and I suck at absolute positoning. :(

Why don't you try to use tabels with buttons, I think it would be much better and it's not so difficult.

Because I want to preserve the design. I'll figure it out. :)

Using a table will not destroy the design. You can have the exactly same look at your site, using tables. But you will have a big advantage: everything will stay in it's place.

Personally i don't like the button layout, the circular/eclipse type buttons how they overlap each other.
