So far i have created the basic layout for my website. i am now looking to try and get a log in working on it.. I have got the username and password boxes inserted into my website but i just need them working now.. I am looking for a log in script that allows me and other people to post news on the site and also allows squads to log in and find out there next matches ect... can this be done? if so could someone help me out??

I am not sure how a log in script would resolve to the ability to post news.

The log in script would allow someone to access portions of your site that are protected.

The news could be a blog, or some sort of "guestbook like" software - or a database.

So, I guess I am a little unclear on what your need is by the post you have made. If you can better clarify, or possibly give an example, I could maybe give you some input on direction. There were no replies to this post, so I thought I would give it a whirl and see if I could get somewhere for you....

You might want to look into something like php-nuke or plone...you need what is called a "Content Management System" (CMS) to do the type of thing I think you want.

Definetly sounds like your looking for php-nuke.

You also might want to try Six-Aparts Movable Type, though I'm not quite sure if it works with multiple authors.
