I have recently started work on a project to create a fully-featured design management system (web-based, php) that would allow designers to keep track of their work. This is something I eventually plan to sell, and I would like to know the kinds of things that would make it useful, so my question to you is, what would you love to see in a design management system? What kind of features would make you want to buy a system for handling your design projects?

Currently planned features include (but are not limited to):

* PayPal payment integration
* Time Management (with itemized billing)
* Invoicing/Financial Statistics and Tracking
* Design Preview with feedback and watermarking for clients
* API-integration so that you can include the client previews into your already created site
* Automatic portfolio generation
* Task management and corrolary projects
* Support for contest projects

There will also be additional features for groups of designers and design firms, but that's to come in the future. At present I'm focusing on freelance designers.

Basically I want to make a custom-tailored tool specifically for graphic and web designers that will improve workflow and visibility of your great design works! So if there's something you'd like to see in a package such as this, let me know, because at this point I'm ready to include everything!

Live chat with the client would be REAL neat, but I guess that'll be waaay out of the box?
