Anyone have some good links to tutorials etc. on making retro-style sites, signs, whatever? Also anything about doing distressed images/worn/aged. I've found some things but I would like to find a lot more.

I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not really going to be doing distressed all that often, and I wanted a quick and easy way to do it. Worth the money in my opinion.

I have eurostile but I seldom use it. If you'd like I can send it to you.well, i don't have any links offhand due to the fact that i use preinstalled adobe brushes, because there are plenty in there and they work wonders.

From the examples i've seen on the site, iam not really fond of these filters. They are pretty nice for the centers, but they are pretty dull effects and most work still is in the edges which are left totally untouched by these filters.

- Erase sparingly
- Gradually build up worn areas
- Don't drag the eraser
Also "let the background through" by lowering the opacity of the image or changing the layer mode to multiply. You can add some texture to the background color with the Noise filter.
I haven't tried this myself. The examples look good with type, but I think your filter might be better for a large image.
