I've been working on adding some animatin (via swish and dhtml) to a couple of sites while still trying to achieve simplisity and low file size in design. Here's one I recently completed for a client.

nice start, if you look at it in firefox the blue menu navigation extends off the main border like its suppose to be ;)

Its nice I guess. I don't really like banner that relplay on every page. Its kind of like music that restarts on every page except visual.

I agree with z77 i think it's better to show the animation just once. A good solution without having flashbuttons or actions binded on the regular buttons you could have the flashsite on the indexpage and just a compressed bitmap as header on the other webpages.
