Guess What.......

Hey guys, guess what. I PASSED AN ALGEBRA PLACEMENT TEST!!! Woot! I wasn' put in Algebra 1 this year because I wasn't n Pre-algebra last year. I was smart enough, if not even smater than the teacher, but my teacher didn't let me go through. This year is different. I was put in math, then I asked to be moved up os I took a test, and WOOT!!!!!!! I DID IT. Note: I act like a complete idiot when I'm not learning. If you met me I'd seem liek I was an illiterate monkey.

What grade are you in and where are you from?

In Canada (Alberta at least) we don't have classes like Algebra - we simply have a Math class that includes Algebra and everything else in it. Infact, the math class I took in my last year of high school was so complicated that it included university level math in it.

Anyways, congratulations I guess

I took math a year ahead of the normal advanced math courses in high school...then comes my senior year and they're basically like "whoops, we don't really have any more math for you to take!"...

I'm assuming your in 6th grade right or 7th? In 8th grade I took AP Calculus in the local high school before my regular middle school. In 9th I took Higher Level Math. Now in 10th, I'm taking AP Statistics although it's actually a lower ranked class then Calculus... My dad has a Ph.D in math so I kinda have to accel in the math part of school... Anyhow congratulations. I'm sure you will succeed in that class...Goodluck!
