Hello all. My name is Will and I live in Blacksburg, Virginia. I am currently working on a degree in marketing/graphic design. I also work full-time as a Services Assistant for the University. Basically, in the job, I create and print newlsetters, posters, flyers and other various items. I do not have a high level of design experience. However, I am highly motivated to learn anything in the field and have a very creative mind. I did not discover my interest in art and design until about 2 years ago, after getting out of the Army and deciding what to do with the rest of my life. I look forward to any experience or knowledge I can get from this site.

Will

Welcome to DC, Will :) It's never too late to get into design. I just completed my degree in May, after a 12 year break from college, so that I can now have a career that is flexible enough to be able to move every couple of years (my husband's in the Army, which I'm sure you can appreciate :), and not have to worry about finding a new job everywhere we go.

I think you'll really enjoy DC, and all that we have to offer here.
