Hi,

I have started doing web development as a freelancer. I want to create flash intros and website on my own. But I have a problem. I do not have knowledge of Flash. Can anyone please tell me some place or software from where I can get readymade flash intros or similar stuff at some nominal price?

I'm not advertising it any way, feel free to delete my post admins if it's againt any of the rules, BUT anyhow, for EDUCATIONAL purposes only, you can purchase or try the trial of a SWF decompiler....SoThink SWF 2005 is an excellent program that provides you with the source of a swf file by decompiling it, I've used the trial version of this software which unfortunately doesnt provide you with the actionscript used to create the swf, but even so it's not bad, and I'm sure the full version is excellent...anyhow, there are free flash templates available online which aren't very advanced..Also templatemonster.com offers a free template (not for commercial use) of a flash site and intro...anyhow goodluck with that...I also suggest you visit flashkit.com...LOL...I must sound excited but it's only because I've started learning flash a little whie ago too...It's very useful

Hi,

I will check the suggestions given by you and I am sure to get some useful stuff. I would prefer some tool which is capable of making flash intros, presentations or websites that are fully customizable and could be tuned to me needs as and when required.

I invite some more suggestions to have best selection.

Hi henry,

I would like to suggest some more resources to you. You can use swish, websmartz etc. Both these can make your task much easier. If you are finding flash hard to learn then try swish. If you are running short of time and money then go for websmartz which has many good flash intros and HTML websites templates.

For these resources go to links
www.websmartz.net
www.swishzone.com

Just check them and select according to your needs.

I would suggest buying the Flash MX bible. You can download an evaluation version of Flash and start learning right away. Then the more you grow, the more your knowledge grows and who knows, maybe you'll end up being the next 2advanced or whoiswe animator. ;)

If you really want to stick to your idea of ready made flash i think swish or swift3d can do a lot with a very low learning curve, but they're limited as well.
