Hi, I'm an animator and I though I'd join, possibly winning some contests in the future!
My name's Jake and I've been animating cartoons in flash for about 1.5 years now.
I've recently begun actionscripting in flash too. You can see my latest game ("Bomb Game") and my latest animation ("Syruplord Intro") in my signiture. "Syruplord Intro" isn't quite done yet though.
I have one question though. Will my age affect my chances to get into a design team? I'm only 14 right now

Nice little bomb throw game Syruplord. I like the sound effects too. You should put some kind of message in the little black "scene separator" thing that says something like "Direct Hit!" or "Oops! You Missed!" depending on the outcome of each throw... BTW I got 16 out of 20 on my first attempts
Flash is a great program. Keep at it! You've definitely got a feel for animation! (Reminds me a bit of Joe Cartoon. He comes out with some real wacky stuff.)
NEWayz... Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome. This place seems like a really friendly place and I think I'll have a good time here.

Welcome aboard! nice animations and a cool little game there! But I believe that it would make it better if you add some kind of frame for the game, either time or attempts. It would make sense, IMO, to make rounds of say 20 attempts so that you will be able to measure acrually how many times did you hit the fork out of the given attempts.

I also spent a bit of time blowing the guy up...I even did it a bunch of times in a row and kept going. I've seen a game like that before and it had wind speed and direction that you had to account for..just another suggestion. Oh, by the way welcome to DC.net
