I am a future contest holder and I am about to start a HIGH PRIZE AMOUNT logo contest.
I was watching the site for some time and the works of designers, and really liked some of them, and one of them was DEEPIXEL.
But today I have noticed that he got banned. Why? Did he do anything wrong, or that is because his works were too good,
I WANT THIS PERSON TO PARTICIPATE IN MY FUTURE CONTEST
Tell me, is there a possibility that deepixel is back or not, I thnk your are loosing great designers from your team.
I will appreciate your answer ASAP as that will influence my decision to START OR NOT TO START.
I like other designers too! So they all will also be banned by the time I start?
This is Nickolai !!! resurepus!! U know who

there is no way we will ban somebody because he/she is a good designer. However we are serious here about rules and the amosphere in the community. Deepixel showed a lot of disrespect to other members and failed to understand that our website hosts contests where all our designers take part and it is not his personal playground. He will not be unbanned by any means. However we believe that you can get an excelent result in your contest even without him and we will do our best to support your contest. Thank you for your understanding.
Probably the new rules are bad? I need time to read and get into situation.
But deepixel was good, Serega. Pity...

The reason why deepixel was banned are a lot, including copyright issues, insulting behaviour, taking to his advantage the rules, threatening other designers... and the list goes on. We will not allow somebody like him to act this way in the future, we were very tolerant and the result was him bothering more and more. We are trying to run a community of good will but we understand that sometimes some bad seeds put their eyes on us so it's our job to find them and remove them.
So sorry Nikolai, but I prefer to have honest people here than fakes that speak too much and do very little.

Nickolai, If you are serious on hosting a contest then we should be fair with all the designers.
Dead serious. In 2 days or so, as soon as I manage to transfer money through PayPal, the contest will be launched.
That will be a different money prize contest than those u have now.
We cannot let a fake contest being run only to deceive the designers with a premeditated winner.
That will not be a fake one. I will apreciate many variants and many designers participating, that's why I want to start the contest BTW.

What I have seen so far (from his last posts) - he was posting more than 3 times in one contest.
By the way, I personally, think that limiting post to 3 works to one designer is STUPID
Anyway my contest will start in some days, and I will learn for myself whether DesignContest is a serious place to get good design at, or not

What we will not tolerate is disrespect from a designer to his fellow designers or contest holder... and from a contest holder to the designers. Understand that we care about our designers a lot and we try to provide them here with an enviroment where they can develop themselves on their skills: a community they can be a part of.

I'm wondering what you mean by "it will be a different money prize contest than you have now" ? I'm just curious in what way you mean that it will be different?

Hi Nick -
I'm wondering what you mean by "it will be a different money prize contest than you have now" ? I'm just curious in what way you mean that it will be different?
Just give me 2 days, I am having trouble sending money, as PayPal doesn't work with my Great Country (the largest country in the world .
So I have to ask some people to help me
I am thinking of a Logo Contest with the prize not less than $500.
What I need and will ask for is not only design. The important part will be an IDEA of the LOGO for my future web-project, as many people can draw, but not many of them can generate great ideas.
PS If the contest IS successful, I will create one more just after it.
