This is a photoshop painting i did a couple weeks ago. Its of a fairy sitting on the hand of a giant robot as they stare into eachothers eyes.No real inspiration, just made it up as i went along.

Very good painting. Looks like a fairy tail of H.C. Andersen.

I love the way you use the light.

It looks good.. I love photoshop, I use it quite often for my t-shirt designs. The only thing I would suggest is bring up the contrast up just a bit so a little more of the background graphics shows up

Nice job you pulled off with this one.
I always like watching works in these styles.
Though, it's a bit dark though, maybe if you added more detail/less darkness, I could be something with more value.
What I can see is cool, but the painting asks for more!

Wow, you really put a lot of work into it! I like it a lot...I agree with WickedMind, more detail/less darkness will make it look even better!
The way the fairy looks at him with sad eyes really puts imagination to fly :) . Any story behind the concept?

pretty good. I can't really comment much though because I could never pull off a painting in photoshop. Too complicated for me.

Nice.

Great work, KorteX! I was just wondering if you have used Corel Painter? They advertise it as "natural media" software for painters and I must say you can reach really great results in it. Some brushes give you feel of natural tools indeed! As far as I know the trial version is avaliable for download from their website, you really should give it a try! And by the way, how much time did you spend working on this painting?

Ah dude I like it. The ligthing could use a little bit of work, but overall a good concept and nicely executed. I am trying to get into digital painting (have a crappy wacom tablet right now)...do you have any newbie links you can suggest?
