Just wondering :-) I am of course my own but I would like to see what others use and how my hosting measures up. :-)

I've run my own dedicated server for the past few months but today I actually signed up with www.idologic.com because I'm trying to cut back on costs. I wasn't using anywhere near my servers full potential so it was a waste of money.

I use someone I found off of webhostingtalk.com I pay like $2 a month. I prefer to do it this way then to pay a company globat.com for instance because the prices are always cheaper.

Webhostingtalk.com really had too many kids who wanted to make a quick buck. Now that is over. Great move! People should understand that no host can sustain $2/month plans and survive well and serve well their customers. It just won't work. Consider minimal plans $5 and even that is ridiculously low if hosting is your main biz.

Ok I have a question for you guys... I am not trying to advertise (even though that is a biproduct)

I charge: $5.00/mo or $50.00/yr for 100mb of space and 8gb of bandwidth and you come to my site what do you think to yourself? 'CHEAP! I am not hosting here' or 'thats fair lets give it a shot'

Well, personally, price is one of the last things I look at. But I suppose it's the first thing that a lot of other people look at. I don't think it's healthy for hosts to nickle and dime each other. So price alone means nothing as there is _always_ going to be someone cheaper.

To answer your question tho, yea, that's good.
