Hi,

I have read a tons of information about colorimeters but I couldn't find any comparison between the leaders in color accuracy tools - DataColor Spyder4, X-rite i1 Display.

What kind of colorimeter do you use? What is your oppinion?
Does anyone use Nec Spectraview colorimeter or Eizo EasyPix 2?
Which is the best choice from suggested for wide gamut monitor?

Thanx!

I had one Spyder Express purchased last year, no experience with it yet cause it said that can not calibrate for dual monitor. ... ... I have to buy a higher version . Well, then i turn to lazy and just stick with try calibrate by eye and hand lol

Nice experience lol

I was thinking to get one of the suggested, but I'm not sure it will get the best from the monitor, because I have read that the wide gamut monitors can not be calibrated as good as they could be calibrated by eye and hand.

In the case of a dual monitor.. Just buy another monitor of the same make and model...

I have used the Spyder before its doesn't work great at all and playing with it several times it didn't really do anythings. While I bought the Pantone Hue which makes allot of difference and atleast that works proper and could see the result changes from what it did. Could see my HP laptop was bit more yellowish than it should be. But after callibrating it it also can check the invironment for lighs sources and adapt so you get better look.
