Well done I just think the water neeeds work at the horizon line. Maybe a but more of a gradient on the hull of the boat. The color on the top of the boat doesnt look right with the sky. Maybe try a color that isnt as close in relation, maybe even black would look nice. Its great looking so far !

I agree about the color change - also, what if you added some texture (to mimic a mezzotint)

I would also play around with cropping it so that it is a lot narrower - to give a better impression of the scale of the ship. Also - there's a lot of dead space

Hi Ed,
I like the fill of this image, the calmnes sof the sea. But, it lacks that "punch"!
Makes me almost fill "What's the point of it?"
I reckon even giving a name to the ship in some interesting font would afect the image greatly!

I think the reflection should be a little "rippled" closest to the hull... Also, the reflection should become more transparent the further it gets from the source. If you want a more naturalistic feel, water also reflects light so the lowest point of the ship should be lightest and gradually darker toward the top.

First off i like the work so far. I feel like the top if the ship could use some more gradients and detail. Mostly in the grey squares at the front.
