If it's not too much to ask, could you attach the picture? I'm assuming you may have it hosted on a site like photobucket or something, which is apparently blocked through my works internet. I'd be more than happy to give my .02 though.

Hi Joy,
To me it's a little distracting to have the two hearts in the name itself. But when I first saw the reversed out heart I immediately saw the possibility of using the outer shape to form a T and J. I played with it a bit. I think just having an icon like this with your text below would be a nice clean look. What do you think?

My first thought when I saw this is the face doesn't look joyful. I kinda like the idea of using marker strokes but I feel it needs more interest such as more variance in the stroke thickness. It looks too computer generated. You might try breaking out a black magic marker with the chisel tip and try a few by hand. Also I like the cleanliness of the font but I'm not sure it has the right feel for the icon style. I do feel contrast between the loose logo and a tight font is good, I'm just not sure this fits together. I'm sorry I wish I could be a little more exact but I think this is something you have to toil through to find what is right for you. I hope this helps.

Sorry I meant it doesn't look joyful enough. Not totally joyful which is what you are trying to express.

Maybe you should forget the face and consider just incorporating a smile in it. After all, what shows joy more than a smile? And the font used for "totaly joy designs.com" is a nice font, but I'm not sure if it's working well w/ the theme, or at least what I'm thinking what you're trying to go for. It's prolly too clean and modern where maybe something more scribbly and/or even "childish" might work well. Might be worth trying.

i dont know why but i would like to try and avoid childish if i could but maybe i should go with it or if i could have the contrast of child like but still professional or "clean" here is a redesigned face... what about this?

Well, I certainly don't get a childish feel, if you want to stay away from that. But I'm getting an oriental feel. Reminds me a little of the LG logo too.

I think you should try different sizes/positions of the elements. Try putting the image in front of the type and size it down a bit. They look a bit disjoined at the moment.

Getting the oriental feel too.

Maybe consider taking it in a completely different direction. Sometimes I find when I design a logo that the more completely unique ideas I come with, the better the logo becomes. You can always come back to your original idea but wouldn't hurt to try something new and fresh.

the two red marks under the eyes looks like tears at first glance.

Also the font you, not a big fan of it... looks too techie for a creative company. Choose something more curvey and streamlined. Also try to come up with something more original for the artwork, something simple yet something that catches the eye
