Thoughts Please

Recently I decided to simplify my website. Cut back on things such as free graphics, my forums, etc. I wanted to make penguinpedia.com just my design website and portfolio, nothing else.
So, over the past couple days I have been working on this:
http://penguinpedia.com/
edit: site is launched! Check it out
It is my "new" layout that I would like to launch, but first I wanted to get some thoughts.
As I said above, I wanted it to be simple. I chose a simple white rectangle, two colours and I went with it. I am at a point where I want to attract clients, so while I wanted it to be simple, I still wanted it to look nice.
Anyways, to get to the point, what does everyone think? Anything I can change? Anything I can add? Or should I start over?

Anyways, I have gone ahead and launched the new site. Hopefully it will attract more clients towards me.
What do you think of the various two-tone images I have posted around? The penguin, phone, etc.

About the two-tone images: I don't like them. The thing that makes your portfolio page so great looking is all the color from the different samples of your work. Colored images would work better there, imo.

I will look into making them 2 or 3 different colours. I like the style of them though, they help me fill some dead space and still look professional. Currently I am using a threshold layer in photoshop to make them look that way, so I will have to find another method.

Nice site bird, but I miss twitchy. Where the heck did he go?

After looking at your portfolio, I have one thing to say:
Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger MUSHROOM MUSHROOM!

Cool stuff, penguin. I like the simplicity of the whole thing. Understated = good in my book.

Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger MUSHROOM MUSHROOM!
LOL I love Badger Badger Badger - I sat there and watched it (and sang it) for about an hour the first time I found it.
And.. Twitchy will be back! (Kind of like the Terminator, but a little different )
