Voting??

How do you vote on a community contest? I am assuming that you can vote only after it has gone into vote mode? but i was sitting in the Feel the music contest and when I hovered over each of the entries it turned green with a vote in the center but I didnt know how to vote clicking on it didnt seem to do anything and my name didnt show in the voted list?

This is for community contest. Not paid contests. There for the community of DC will vote for whichever contest entry they feel is the best.

Go to the home page, and scroll down past the professional contests. While you're there, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and read all of the informational links there...

In a community contest the community members vote who the winner will be in a contest.

In a professional contest the contest holder chooses the winner.

Maybe an extra info would Help, There Also a Voting to become an Elite Design member, Which the users votes for a candidate.

The question was about the contests but since you brought up the Elite Designer process....Community members vote on the applicants forum participation only. Members do not vote on the quality of designs or what they design. If the applicant passes the poll vote about forum participation then they become an Elite Designer. I have put the applicant through different stages of process before this poll vote comes up to the community. Each applicant has to pass several processes, that is why it takes so long to become an Elite designer

The voting we are talking about is poll voting in the community contests. Our professional contests are not voted. The contest holder of the professional contest choose their own winner.

For out community contests we let the community choose (vote) the winner
