Hello,

I was wondering, Am I Allowed to use Symbols like a "Lock" or a "Bus" from Symbol library on Adobe Illustrator on a contest:confused:? Or it has to be me who draw my self a shape like a "bus" without using the pre-made symbols on Adobe

kindly advise.

I guess your reply didn't help me tho-, I would rather hear the answer from a Mod/Admin. Thank you. I also post that thread in public to be a useful thread for other member not to fall in trouble if it ain't allowed.

It's a good question... I've often wondered the same thing. If you are using a basic shape, say a heart, and would construct a very similar image from scratch anyway, why not use a free, stock image that has no copyright?

Thats exactly why I've asked. However Most of the Members or some of them are "Newbie" or "Beginners", And Participating in contests Increases their profession till they don't need any pre-made shapes to depend on it. If we are told that Using pre-made shapes isn't permitted then I expect the purpose of Design Contest website is for a Highly Professional Graphic designers, At the end its my own opinion.

Regards.

I was hoping this question would have been self answered, since this was asked by an Elite Designer

Thanks Sharie for Clarification, I Guess The Guidelines for not using "Pre-made template" or "Adobe Illustrator Pre-made Shapes" is not allowed here for a good reason, So thats end the question.

Thanks Again,
-Amr
