Hi,

I'm new to this place (though I've just started a little competition and have been AMAZED by the quality of the entries!), so forgive me if my post is inappropriate.

I'm starting a little U.K. music publishing business - mainly online, and selling editions of music that's so damn obscure (seventeenth & eighteenth century recorder music) that profits will be slim. Hey ho, more to life than money.

Although I'll mainly be concentrating on selling PDF editions, there's enough of a market for hard copy that I want to do short runs of the publications. There's no way on earth I can afford normal, western printing costs, so I want to looks at getting printing done overseas.

Is there anyone out there who can point me in the direction of good printing houses in, for instance, the former Eastern Bloc or India? I've had some web design done like this and it's been excellent. Anyone else tried offshore printing? Any advice?

Cheers,

Richard
