hey guys,
My photoshop doesn't seem to work. it shows the splash and then begins to load. Just after everything is loaded, it just disappears.

I tried Reinstalling and anyhting i possibly had thought of. I also upgraded my RAM from 256 to 512. I thought that it was a RAM problem. Though it still doesn't work. I had this problem before too. i solved that by recovering my PC.

do u guys have any idea besides recovering?

thanks in advance

i think it may be a corrupt font you've downloaded. or it could be your adobefnt.lst file is corrupted. could be.

not entirely sure. i think deleting the adobefnt.lst files fixes it. so just do a search of your files, and delete any you find. it's automatically regenerated fresh each time you start the program if there isn't one already. so when you delete the old one, a brand new one is created.

I recommend you to download the 7.0.1 update for Photoshop. But if you did, then try to reset the settings: start Photoshop and while it start loading, press quickly Ctrl + Shift + Alt, all at once. That will reset the settings and configurations and fix the problem. When i worked with version 7 i got a similar trouble and that key combo did the trick! ;)
