Today, I found 2 children left in a car, with the windows partly rolled down (about 6 inches). The children appeared to be about 2 and I believe a year old or less. I will not go into details as to what I did; I'd like to hear details as to what everyone else would have done, if they had been in my position... This is a suburb of the Los Angeles area (just fyi).

Thanks for any response.

Wow. Um. I guess if they were in no immediate danger I probably would have stuck around a little while to see where the parental units were, and if they would show up. I really don't know. Glad that didn't happen to me.

hmm.. well I am assuming it was hot outside - in which case I would have immediately called the police to get them out.

Otherwise, if it wasn't hot out and they were ok inside for a while - I would locate the parents somehow.

I probably would have called the police too. Forgot about those guys.

Nothing wrong with calling the police. Leaving a note would be another good move. Watching them until the parents get back, then talking with them would probably be the best solution. Explaining that the risk they are taking to save a min or two is extremely foolish.
