Re use of My Design [Question]

I had the same question myself, thanks alot for asking and getting the answer =)

I have a question about this too. I have this design that I want to reuse, it has the silver medal but then the CH opened an one-on-one project to buy it but it never finalized. I can still see it on My one-on-one projects section saying that "Awaiting Client's Response". But it was on February 2012. In this case, can I use it again for another contest?

is my past design can i use it in other contest?

I know we can't use the same design in two open contests, but what if it is eliminated? Can the CH choose a winner design that he eliminated before? If my design is eliminated and the contest is not finalized can I use it (or part of it) in another contest. Should I ask the mods to remove my eliminated design before use it again? I guess eliminated designs can't win.
