well, first of all, you are not allowed to comment in Paid Contests section. If you wonder when you will be able to post entries in the paid contests, I should say that you need to be a member of our Design Team. The application process is not very complicated and you can find out everything about it if here http://www.designcon...ent/view/14/28/ Though you should read our rules and guidelines attentively.

as for introduce yourself forum. Normally you should be able to post there already. Maybe you tried to post your introduction as a comment in a locked thread? Please, post it as a separate thread, you should work then.

you can definitely enter community contest if you want to start designing and entering contest. its the best way to start here because you get to design and start adding to your portfolio and then you can show it off to the design team comittee when you apply for the design team.

It is _Redrum (one of the forum admins) who processes the application to the Design Team (which will allow you to take part in the paid contests). As for the community contests you can start participating any time!

Thank you for the great idea. I have been struggling to gain "privilages" and joining in on community designs is a great way.
