I just bought a Vinyl Cutter and I am trying to figure out the best type of vinyl to use for mainly car in general / business windows and just anything really. I have just a basic US Cutter MH871 cutter/plotter and didn't know if anyone had any experience with this cutter or any cutter.

About the cutter i cant help about that specific brand/model but about choosing the vinyl it realy depends on the job at hand.
Theres lots of different brands with different "series" and specs, with Hexis for example they have 3000 and 5000 series, the 3000 is good for short term work (couple month), the 5000 lasts longer. Most brands have car specific vinyl (bubble free) wich is easier to apply and lasts longer, shrinks less and easier to break its "memory" (not sure if that translates right :D), you can use it in other applications and its better then other vinyls but its also more expensive.
Some brands you might want to take a look at are, Hexis, Avery, Oracal, 3M.
Hope it helps
