Project description

Please take the 3 sample slides linked to below and redesign them, to go well with our logo style / logo color scheme. The slides are at

http://www.stormglass.com/Slide2.jpg
http://www.stormglass.com/Slide3.jpg
http://www.stormglass.com/Slide4.jpg

Our logo is at: http://www.stormglass.com/Slide1.jpg
The mockup text is at: http://www.stormglass.com/text.ppt

Our presentation is fairly text heavy (it's intended to be read by investors, not presented), and we need some way to make the text not look like a "wall of words". We tried varying the colors, but you may have a better solution?

We don't require a Powerpoint template -- in fact, we don't want the slides to look "Powerpointy" -- we want them to look "designed".

The design style we're looking for is: bold, memorable, sleek, modern / futuristic, high-tech

No restrictions on color scheme -- we're open to a black or a white background -- but we would like the overall design to complement our logo colors and font choice (OCR B Std).

  • Dear Contest Holder, Thank you for your reply. I uploaded one slide. I chose the second because it has less text so you can have a better look on the details. Thank you, Roberth
  • I don't think this color scheme works well with the logo color scheme -- also, I'd prefer something a little more linear (the paragraphs of text are intended to be read in a sequence, I think that will be hard with this design)

  • could you please upload a single slide (hard to see the details with this 3-slide version) -- thanks!

  • would you mind uploading a single slide? (having trouble seeing the details with the current version)
  • Dear Contest Holder, I fitted all the slides in on because I want to keep my other entries since there are only 7. If you want I can upload each of them individually. Thank you, Roberth
  • To CH: Would you be open to a presentation format other than PowerPoint?
  • Hi Contest Holder, I can't find the correct text to put in the slides. Upon downloading the PowerPoint file, the text is incorrect.
  • Dear Contest Holder, I got the text. Thank you, Roberth
  • Sorry, but I can't open it. The file seems to be corrupt. It gives me an error.
  • Hi Roberth, I've placed a ppt containing the text at http://www.stormglass.com/text.ppt -- let me know if that format doesn't work for you
  • Dear Contest Holder, Could you upload please only the text from the 3 slides in .docx or other format? Thank you, Roberth
  • (see comment on other version)
  • Could you try a couple different color schemes for the alternating text color? perhaps black plus gray?
  • could you try it with a silver / gray instead of the yellow, plus removing the sharp corner that overlaps the top left and botton right of the text area?
  • Thanks for your feedback. I've adjusted project to your suggestions and made a few additional color variants.
  • see feedback on your other blue version
  • the blues are not working for me -- let's go back to the yellow / orange -- could you try making the left vertical bar narrower, and make the logo in the top left much smaller -- maybe have the partial logo in the bottom left overlap the text in the form of a watermark?
