Project description

We are seeking a new style camouflage image. We apply our images on fabric and vinyl type materials for numerous market segments. The image has to be original can be manipulated from photo or computer generated image. Can not reflect any resemblance to any thing else on the market. The image can not lean towards copyright or trademark infringements. We are seeking original concepts for our market. The image should incorporate tree limbs, branches and so on. But not limited to strictly shrubs and plant life. There are some images in the industry including ours that use bones, skulls artifacts and so on to enhance the image. We are looking more for what we call designer camouflage. It will work in the field of hunting but goes beyond that. The images are printed using a 480mm X 1020mm cylinders. The image will have a 480mm repeat. We can incorporate the correct repeat once we have a final winner. The image needs to be of high resolution for printing proposes. AI file preferred but usually can work with a J peg.

  • SANT2, yes but it needs to be images in the direction the brief explains.
  • Thank you for the feedback. I'll get to work on another piece. :)
  • I worked in Illustrator ( vector ) You need a more realistic illustration ??? best regards SANT2
  • Our staff really like the direction this one is going but more for a project down the road. At the moment for this project we are looking for more realistic. Keep this one because we will be running more contest if this one goes as we think.
  • We apologize to anyone we did not give feed back to. We or I should say I am new to this and did not see the questions. Once I understood I just needed to scroll down a little further I got is. Sorry
  • Brief Yes it can if it is your photo.
  • Images and any contrasting images have to be crisp. The back ground can be a little duller if need be. Not quite sure how to explain it. For printing the image it almost needs to have a crisp photo style look.
  • QUESTION A quick question, this is from the brief "The image has to be original can be manipulated from photo or computer generated image" It says can be manipulated from a photo. Is that correct or is it can not? Just want to clarify before I get started. I have some original photos that I took and would like to use them. Thanks
  • Now we are heading in the correct direction. But the images and any contrasting images have to be crisp. The back ground can be a little duller if need be. Not quite sure how to explain it. For printing the image it almost needs to have a crisp photo style look.
  • You are getting closer to the concept. It needs to really jump out and be crisp.
  • You really need to read what we are looking for and go to the url’s we have listed. If you need clearing direction please lets us know.
  • About #23 Hi, Thank you for your review and here is my revision #24. Tell me if there is anything what I can change on my design to be what're looking for. Best regards, dthais
  • There are a lot of nice elements here. A little hard to see what all is going on at the moment. Can you pull the circles or the dots out to start?
  • Needs to be more authentic looking. The skulls need to look more like a real skull less like a drawing.
  • This is a pretty cool variation and unique. I'd like to see these skulls in varying sizes layered on the pattern to give it depth.
  • See if you can also revise this one to the style of your number #21 entry.
  • Better but the colors in the image would have to be crisp not the appearance of a painting. Images like this just will not print well.
  • This is the concept we are going towards. You have the crisp lines with the faded back. We are trying to create depth.
  • This looks cool, but the key to camo is hiding things in the image (preferably theme-based) that one has to look closely to pick out.
  • This looks cool but hard to discern a theme.
