Project description

We are a professional office with Four seperate entities. There are 4 adjacent windows that we require a strip signage on, one for each entity. The strip should be clearly visible from the nearby road. The theme should be consistent across each window to reflect a unified group. The windows are 127 cm wide and 192 cm high and the strip should be no more than 100cm high Designers can access the web address at www.fortyseven.com.au to get a look and feel for the organisation as well as the logo. There is an attached rough sketch of what the content of each window should have. Also there are size requirenments for the two association logos (Financial Planning and Accounting)- you should read the requirements on both included in the attachment. Ideally we would also like the web address to appear visibly on at least one of the windows.

  • Dear CH, Can you provide me LOGO in pdf or eps Thanks
    • I will upload a pdf version on the posting. The words financial planning should be excluded though.

    • Thanks for provide pdf of logo I will give you desgn soon Thanks

    • I have submiited design Please provide feedback Thanks

  • Hello! I have submitted #1 for your review, and would love to hear any of your suggestions or things you might like changed. Thanks!
    • Hi, thank you. Are you able to photo shop the strips onto the photograph of the office windows so we can see the real view?

    • Of course! It's a fairly quick photoshop job with just the three windows mocked up, but hopefully it gives you an idea!

  • Hi thanks for all the great designs. I have uploaded another photo of the windows for your photo shop which includes the 4th window. So far we like the black (possibly slightly more grey ish like our website) strip with orange border possibly slightly bigger so writing is visible from the road and consistent across all windows. The web address, can leave out www before or possibly exclude web address if it does not really look good. We are thinking frosting below the black strip for the CA and FPA logos to stand out slightly more. We do not like the white backgrounds. Our business logo is a little repetetive so we thought perhaps no background colour so that it was not too strong - but please use your initiatives we are open to left field concepts. The CA logo we wanted a little bigger. Good luck!
    • Hi, I'm glad you like the idea about the frosting. I would love to submit a new design based on your feedback, but since I'm new to DesignContest I can only upload three designs. If you wish to see more from me you'll have to rate the designs you like (if you like them). Thank you and have a great day!

      |--| Entry #4 Can you make the black strip slightly taller so that you can make the writing in this strip a little larger. Can you frost below the black strip and make the CA logo a little bigger. Don't worry about the 0.8meter height. Include the web adress on the frosted glass that does not have the logos but exclude www

    • Hi, thank you for your suggestions! I've submitted a new version according to your suggestion. I've added frost behind the fortyseven-logo as well and made the black strip grey. What colour you like for the web address? I was thinking about what you said about your logo being repetitive. Maybe we could use another design alternating your logo with the CA- and FPA-logos. That allows for bigger logos and puts them more in focus. Keep the black/grey block with white text. Maybe keep a bit of frosting beneath as well for the web address. What do you think about alternate web address and phone-number in the design? One last question, how tall are the windows? Thank you!

  • Hello! I have submitted entries #13 and #14 which follow your new requests. I put in blinds as the background in the top strip for #13 to represent transparency, and the light gray is intended to represent the frosting you mentioned. All of these are demonstrated in my mockup on the new window picture in #14. I slimmed down the middle strip to allow a larger bottom strip and allow for the larger CA logo while still within the requirements for the logo usage. Please let me know what you think!
  • Hello! I have submitted a design with slight variations to #1 - #9 and then mocked-up on your windows in #10. I adjusted the color behind your website to keep that strip consistent across all four signs, and adjusted the height in the 'Bookkeeping' sign to make that consistent with the other two, while leaving the first with your logo larger for increased visibility. Let me know what you think of these and changes you might like made. Thanks!
  • Hello! I have submitted mockups #19 and #20. #19 has the text stacked on a larger middle black strip and the CA and FPA logos slightly larger. For #20, once you said the .8 meter height wasn't a strict limit, I stretched the strips out a bit to make the text in the middle black strip more legible and visible from farther away, as well as enlarge the logos. I'd love to hear your thoughts and changes you might like made. Thanks!
  • Hi All, after seeing the designs to date we feel that we should extend the maximium hight of the strip to approx 100cm -110cm.
    • Hi, I've submitted an alternate version #32 with the affiliate-logos above the stripe, making them larger. The total height of the frosting in this (and #21) is approximately 87cm, aligning the frosting with the door handles. Would you like me to make it higher?

  • Hello CH, I made some changes on the first design, so i submitted #28 and #29. The height is now 110cm and I made the web address larger. I kept the sguare dots the same, but I changed the orange lines of web address so they are more visible.
  • Thanks, see increased height on brief
    • Hi Pleaase see #27, which is adjusted in height, to about 95 - 100 cm. I Thought is looks best if is in line with the upper part of the door handles... It's the same design, using the same colors, just increased in size the logo and text a bit. Let me know your thoughts.

  • Hi Erien, thanks for your latest design #15 - looking good. Can you make the web address larger so it fits the frosting and is visible. Also can you make the grey strip a little darker so that the white writing stands out a lttle more. We would like to compare the lighter and darker grey options to see how they look.
    • Hi, thank you for your response. I've uploaded a darker version with larger web address. I would really like to know how tall the windows are so I can make the sketch proportional. Thank you!

      |--| Window size is 192cm high and 127cm wide

  • Hello CH, I submitted my proposal, #25 and #26. I'd like to hear your opinion. Thanks!
  • hi CH I've made a version on this. Please take a look at #22 - detail. I made also as a mockup (#23 and #24) on the windows, one is with white vinyl in background the other with frosted vinyl in background. Height is 80 cm (for the square the graphics is in), excluding the top windows, which you should consider covering with the same background only, because it looks weird if not. The other graphic elements are as requested, the colors are the same as in your logo (same orange and dark gray). Thanks for any feedback... Andrei
  • Hello CH, Thank you for rating my last entry #28 and #29. I would like to know if there are any suggestions or changes to make. Thank you for your time. Artemis
  • Hi, Financial planning should come out of the logo. Black writing for web address
    • Hi Please check #35 and #37. One uses the gray from the logo other uses plain black. Thanks Andrei

  • Hello Ch About #33 and #35 First few submissions for your review and critique. File created in Illustrator so it can be resized without any resolution loss and also print cut ready. Would it be possible to get the original or vector / pdf of the other 2 logos like your fortyseven?. This way you will have a 100% cut ready file. I redid the 2 but with out the bells and whistles of the originals also fonts are different. Just a thought so you or the printer will not have any concerns on the file. Open to any revisions Thank You
  • Hi CH #34 represents a 3m high x 1.5m wide sign. Background is the same dark gray as in the logo, and i put in a light gray where the logo and www stand. Feedback is welcome. Thanks Andrei
  • Thanks for rating on #22. It's the same NEW height you mentioned and the mockup on the window is #27. I will try and do a mockup for the sign too. Andrei
  • Hello Erien, we have a sign out the front of the business which needs to match the window design you are working on. The dimensions are 3m high x 1.5meters wide. The forty seven logo should appear with the services: Financial Planning, Legal, Accounting and Tax as well as the web address. No other logos required. We are thinking white writing on black background to stand out. Not sure about the logo background though.
  • Hello Erien can you make the web adress in black so it is bolder.
