Project description

I am not sure if I want to use Boston Girl or Boston Girls as the name. Please choose either Boston Girl or Boston Girls but also incorporate the word "jewelry" in your choice. Jewelry designs that can be with customized with birthstones, handstamped metal and/or pendant/charms with personal quotations in multiple languages. All jewelry 14k or sterling, layered and mix or match. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings and anklets. Jewelry that expresses something about the style and personality of the wearer. Simple, classy, expressive and meaningful high quality pieces. I am from and living in Boston and wish to evoke the spirit, strength and wisdom of women who make cities like Boston thrive. I will need a logo that can also fit nicely on packaging. I am leaning towards websites colors in purple, blue and green. Strong yet feminine colors perhaps with a logo where each word is a different font. Mixing modern with a 18th or19th century font or the word Girl(s) is in script.

  • Could we try this in a blue? Something aquamarine perhaps?
    • Hi CH, I uploaded #40 and #41 with the aquamarine color and more options.

  • Could we try this in a blue? Something aquamarine or a little deeper if needed for contrast?
  • Very interesting. Different have the word jewelry above. I gave designers the option of using Girl or Girls. Did you consciously choose the plural?
    • I chose a "girl", because in my opinion, sounds nicer and somehow gives the feeling of uniqueness, as each piece of your jewelry. Singular is always better, it's like personally addressing to the customer. The word "jewelry" is written in the same font as the word "Boston", only is different by the thickness of the letters. If you want,I can put the same thickness of the letters. All the best!

  • Could you try this in an aquamarine blue?
  • Too ethnic (too Irish even though I am half Irish)
  • Too old fashioned.
  • Thank you, but misses the feel of the brand.
  • The wrong feel, seems dated.
  • I like the representation of the piece of jewelry but I am not sure the font well represents the steadfastness and history of Boston. Can you separate the words?
    • Hi CH, I uploaded #14 and #15 for the variations. Would love to have feedback for improvement or other experiments. Thank you.

  • The word girls gets lost in this one.
  • Let's eliminate this one. Not crazy about the font.
  • Another question, I gave designers the option of using Girl or Girls. Did you consciously choose the plural?
    • Hi CH, I choose plural because as you said "wish to evoke the spirit, strength and wisdom of WOMEN who make cities like Boston thrive", so it would be a perfect way to make ALL women identify themselves with your brand. But if you want to change it to singular, it's fine, just let us know! :)

  • Hmmm, I really liked the Boston all alone on one line. Very classic, very Boston.
  • This has real possibilities as well.
  • I like this. Can you work in the word jewelry?
  • This is too ornate and imbalanced. Thank you for your time.
  • Interesting, can you work in the word jewelry?
  • I really like this, but I am not sure it could fit on a small jewelry box.
  • Could you draw the word girl in a different color? Thank you.
