Winning design #117 by alexgill, Logo Design for Broadway Production & Finance Company needs Your Design Input! Contest
Gold Medal

Project description

We need a logo as the first step in a larger design process. Are you up for the challenge? We are looking for a clean logo that is artistically interesting, simple to view and communicates the discipline and foundation discussed above. It's important that while we are a finance company, we are also a lifestyle company and must appeal to that angle as well. Please note: If you create a logo, we would like it to work textually as well (for letterhead, e-mail signatures, etc.)... also, we refer to our fund as "TBF" as an abbreviation, so a dual-purpose logo that features the whole name, The Broadway Fund, as well as a small truncated logo that says TBF would be perfect. Start your engines!

PLEASE NOTE: Keep in mind, we are an Innovations Company - our logo but be 21st-Century, Modern, Clean, Edgy - think more FIlm Studio than Theatre in terms of aesthetic.

Comments

  • #103 with the same color tones as #99 and with a different font. #104 with the same kind of text placement like #72. Feedback awaited. Thanks
  • Please do colors like #99, but without the white dots on the left hand side. Also, can you try a different font?
  • Would love to see this with the same text shape as #72 (with The and Fund located closer to the word "Broadway") and also without the shadow.
  • Please try two different revisions. First, please place the icon to the left of the "TBF" like you did in the first version and make it in line with the large TBF and above the "The Broadway Fund". Also, in both cases please take out the "shine" or the "glow" and keep it flat colored with no texture. Thank you.
  • When you make this revision, please also consider making the tops of the buildings square as opposed to diagonal/angular. Thank you.
  • A mask is used as an icon.
  • Thank you for your comments. I submit a square logo with a color variation.
  • Would also love to see you do the two-tone coloration of this logo with a deep blue and to remove the circle.
  • Darker blue for the background and I would also like you to work on the text, looking at the feedback I've given all users. This is really shaping up nicely.
  • Please change this to a blue palate.
  • With a normal R as per your request. Thank you Dear CH.
  • This is going really well, but the colors are a bit bright. Can we see some different shades of deeper blues? Thanks for your help.
  • I would like to see you change the purple to a deep blue. also, could we explore some options with the "bulbs" in the skyline to loosely mimic a "TBF" (it can be a little abstract) and to look more like a skyline. This is a very cool concept. Maybe we can also have one of the "bulbs" a different color. Your call. Looking forward to the revision.
  • Sorry for the double post of my last comment.. I dont know how it happened but saw it had got posted again when i refreshed this page.. :(
  • Dear CH, Thank you for your feedbacks but as i had mentioned I am right now out of my submission limit.. so i can not further submit any more design with the required modifications you have asked for unless you click revision needed on some of my entries. If you please to.. Thank you again very much.

  • What I was thinking is to keep the square that you had previously, and a standard logo (this is too blocky) but then have a small dot matrix within the square.
  • Can you do this one without the reverse R as well?
  • I don't love the purple and blue together, but you did give me some inspiration: What if we try to use the dots to make a TBF (or something therein) that looks like a city skyline?
  • Again, I'd like to focus on your taking #14 and changing the color fields.
