The website is a little confusing regarding the rules and how the contest works, but overall my experience was positive.

Project description

Logo redesign for nail salon. I'm looking for a re-design with a rustic-modern, country-ish feel. Ideas are barnwood, floral, grasses, leaves, vintage, cottage, shabby chic, etc.

Read full brief

  • A little less filligree with larger, cleaner lettering.
  • I would like to see some more modern ideas also.
  • I really like the feel of this design. I'd like to see something from you using something like the abstract botanicals you used on your towel warmer project.
    • Ok, thank you! I will work on new design but should i keep this form of #6?

    • Maybe try with this form and maybe a more open idea.

    • hi again there is a version #30 you asked for, so please check and let me know. my best

  • I like the open feel of this, but I'd like to see something with no filligree.
  • Hello CH, I have submitted #23. I hope I am going in the right direction with this. Thanks. Update: Submitted #27. I opted for a clean ``less is more`` look.
  • I'd like to see some designs outside of shape of my current logo (submitted). A more open design with abstract modern botanical shapes.
  • Nevermind, you did!
    • Yes, I did that :) Please not that contest is open just for 3 minutes more but i just want to let you know - when you choose a winner you still have 7 days more for possible corrections.

    • Oh good! Thanks for the info.

  • Can you make one with the outer circle in the blue?
  • Incorporate the "& Nails" into the bottom edge like the "Hands Feet" are.
    • Hi again, there is correction #35 please check and let me know what you think.

  • Make this teal a little bit deeper color, like #6 and incorporate the original green from #30 around the edges. Keep only the finials in the gray/brown.
    • Dear CH, I hope I understand correctly - please check version #34 and let me know is that you have in mind. best regards

  • I really like the feel of the old with the new. I'd like to see some other color combos with the teal too.
