BACKGROUND: -Do you Love wine?- I am a Fully Licensed and Bonded winery in Santa Barbara, California. At first I will be selling Direct To Consumer and i am only producing 400 cases total of wine this first year. My wines will be small lots of handcrafted wine from Santa Barbara County just north of Santa Barbara, Americas Riviera. Our inspiration is French winemaking styles combined with Santa Barbara County's "Terroir." Burgundian Style Pinot Noir and Chardonnay! Then Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. My winemaker is the award winning Doug Margerum of Margerum Wine Company. Is this helping? CRITERIA: Logo needs to be Readable from afar, work well on a wine label, in print (stationary/brochure/newspaper etc,) on a ball cap and on a t-shirt, business card and mobile device. Yup... I'm an Apple guy. I like Timeless logos.. Professional classic looks. Simple is always good... Focus needs to be on my five letter name (jamie) for the label but I need to consider including the word "wines" along with it for positioning reasons. I could also Not have it. Conflicted. I want it to Stand Out amongst other labels on the shelf in the Wine store. TARGET CUSTOMER 70% Men... 35-74 with lots of cash and an Ego. My wines will be $35-$60 retail. Restaurant pricing will be double that. They are people who know about wine, travel, do fine dining regularly and want to feel connected to special things, not just wine. I'm not looking for the snooty wine drinker but if they want to buy my wine then purchase away! My customer loves to have Fun and great experiences in life. Wine is either the focus or it an important supplement to their adventure. The WINE THEY BUY IS AN EXPRESSION OF THEM AND WHO THEY KNOW. It is a Statement that they make. ME & MY PERSONALITY: I'm pretty passionate person who loves killer experiences in life. I have run radio stations for 20 years, raced cars professionally all over North America and now I'm Loving the wine industry! I'm an early adopter of technology, I'm social... Yes with people and the Internet! I'm a BOLD and Boisterous personality. Haha. Also life is too short to drink bad wine...just saying. Again thank you for your consideration. jamie
