Project description

There will be two versions of the logo, both using the same graphic and fonts: a. TEMPUS b. TEMPUS flow The font for the logo has already been selected, so I only need the graphic. An example of the font (Vivaldi – system font) and the dimensions of the stamp it will appear on, can be found below in a file called “logo layout and dimensions.jpg” Assets found here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B9eUrnjJGWKAM25mZUM2aHlUWE9iYjVwNWJJN2h3dw The fist logo will be placed as a plastic or metal "brand' on regular ceiling fans and the second will be used for ultra energy efficient ceiling fans (65% more energy efficient) on plastic or metal as well. These fans are for the US market where we sell a wide variety of internal and external products to multi-family and hotel building developers (later residential as well). I would like to come up with something unique and different while still being able to attach it (whether through glue or small screws / rivets) to the fan body. The jpgs labeled “fan 1.jpg” and “fan2.jpg” show the actual fans the logo stamps will appear on. An example of what the size the stamp should be is attached along with style suggestions but you will not need to feel constricted to this. I would like the outline and lettering to be chrome and the inside to be black or a darker color. Most fans that are sold are either chrome, satin nickel or oil rubbed bronze (just for design reference). Tempus means “time” in Latin. The main logo can be in color, but the stamps will be monochromatic in chrome or plastic and contained in a border as illustrated in the jpg “logo layout and dimensions” To summarize I will need the following: -Color logo of Tempus & Tempus Flow -Monochrome versions (gradients can be used to show dimension) of the same logo contained in a border.

  • Only one design allowed per entry.
  • Hi CH. can we put the TEMPUS and TEMPUS flow with the Squared Corner shape in one Entry?
  • your entry is almost exactly the same as entry number1 http://www.designcontest.com/logo-design/logo-design-for-international-fan-company/entry/18/report
  • did you read the brief? the font must be Vivaldi, the shape is given from Contest holder ( 2 possible shapes) the colors - black and silver < so what is your problem here? all ideas will look similar...that's do obvious
  • Multiple designs not allowed unless requested by CH
  • Please remove the black stroke around the font and use the same color and style treatment as in the example. Make the Tempus font smaller, and include a version with "flow" underneath "Tempus". This is 1 of 2 finalists. Thanks!
  • Please use the uppercase version of the font (vivaldi) so that it appears exactly as in the sample file. Do a second version where "Flow" would be underneath "Tempus" once the font is adjusted. (Your logo is one of 2 which will be selected.)
