New Maritime Law Firm Needs a Professional Logo

I love my new logo. It was easy to write up the contest, and the designers had so many memorable ideas. The hardest part was choosing the right design for my new company.

Project description

Blue Water Legal is looking for a looking logo emphasizing compassion, hardwork and trustworthiness. This logo needs to be in color but easily transferable to black/white. The colors should include a variety of blacks, greys and blues, but can include a complimentary pop of color. The logo must include the name of the firm. While not necessary, the inclusion of an image of water, a container ship or a fishing vessel would be appropriate. No bubbly letters or cartoony images - the image should appeal to blue collar workers. Above all, the logo needs to be very professional.

Read full brief

  • Can you flip the image of the vessel?
  • I like the boarder around the name but would like to see more variety with the image.
  • I am not fond of the scales of justice.
  • I like where you're going. Love to see the name more prominant.
  • The font is not the right image. Looking for something straightforward.
  • Hi CH, i submit #57 and #58, the logo create from initial B-W (Blue Water) that form to a ship, with B in Sail, and W in Ship. I hope you like it. thanks
  • I like this but am concerned that it will quickly date the logo.
  • It's too informal.
  • The boat is too cartoon-y.
  • I wouldn't mind seeing something more in this direction but more polished.
  • Compass isn't quite right.
  • Wrong vessel. Cruise ships aren't right.
  • Hi CH, I'v done this #53 I have ready a gryscale image too and it's look god to. Let me know what you think about and if you whant to see a gryscale of the same image!
  • A smaller "PLLC". I added a yellow gold color to the palette, for that complimentary pop color. The logo can easily be converted to B/W...thanks for the comments
  • the onboard cranes are not quite right
  • I really like this one but would like to see the ship integrated into the lettering. I love the ship.
  • The PLLC is too big.
  • You were right
  • Too traditional
  • Wrong type of fishing boat - needs to be commercial vessel
