Project description

Thick to Thin in 30 Days is the title of a diet book that I'm writing. I need a logo that makes this look as easy as it sounds and that can be used as the centerpiece for all of my marketing and promotion.

Let's see what happens when you place the background from 20 into this one.
    • Dear CH. Any other change, I´m here. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!

How would some tick marks on the tape measure look? Would it enhance it? ...or detract?
  • BBR
Can you place the tape around the word in a way that doesn't block the word so much? If so, we'd like to see that. Thanks!

Here's one that I "kinda" like. Although, I'm not totally sold on it yet, I am getting good feedback from my female voters telling me that they like it.
    • Thank you, im very open to suggestions on things that could be improved or doing different versions

Color feels washed out. More contrast or bolder colors?
  • BBR
I like it. ...but I'm getting lots of votes against it. ...so I can't tell you yet what they don't like...but it clearly is not doing the job of causing potential buyers to make a purchase just from the content of the design.
  • BBR
For the most part, we like it. There is something missing though and we are not sure what it is. Could be that the arrow points both directions. ...maybe have it only pointing one direction. ...maybe place the point of the arrow into a target somehow (most likely on the right).

No suggestions on this one yet. We are keeping it under consideration.
  • BBR
No suggestions on this one. We need to vote on it.
  • BBR
No. Too similar to #17...and I like #17 better.
  • BBR
No. Makes me think cancer awareness, not diet.
  • BBR
    No, too basic...too plain.
  • BBR
A lot of new design ideas submitted recently. I'm responding and offering feedback as quickly as I can. Don't consider it bad if I haven't responded yet...it probably means that I find something about your design that I like and that I'm still thinking about the design to decide if I really like it or not...and to offer feedback that can be used as guidance. Please be patient.

Does not draw enough attention. I don't want to add any additional tag line. I'm not trying to complicate the issue beyond the basic message. This is a diet...use it...and go from Thick to Thin in 30 Days.
  • BBR
Too basic. Too hard to read.
  • BBR
I hope each of you are reading ALL of the comments...including ones left for other designers. I'm trying to offer as much direction to everyone and I think something can be learned from the comments left so that new revisions and submissions are continually improved. Thank you all.

I feel that this is too "retro" of a look and as a result will attract a much smaller niche. I want something with a broader rate of attraction. When I see retro such as this, I have to be in the mood to even consider it...if not, I just ignore it completely and never even give it a second thought. I need this to make a statement in such a way that they can't get it out of their head...they think about it over and over again...crave it...until they buy it.
  • BBR
No. I think this one takes too much thought to perceive to perceive the message. Also, the further along I read it...the more difficult it gets to read. It not only gets thinner, it gets smaller.
  • BBR
Cute. ...but I'm going to say No. I don't think the potential buyers will want to be compared to the animals. Many of them might already feel like an elephant. I don't want to be the one to disparage them further.
  • BBR
After much consideration, I think that the 30 just overpowers the rest of the message.
