Winning design #3 by josephope, Logo Design for Wilderness Grove Logo Contest
Gold Medal

designed by josephope

Project description

To design a new logo for this luxury "boutique" accommodation which attracts the type of clientele who will appreciate the properties elegance and unique charm. The by-line is "Simply Elegant Accommodation" PLEASE NOTE: The property is named "Wilderness Grove" because it is within an Olive Tree Grove situated on Wilderness Road in the Hunter Valley - which is a wine growing region in Australia. The property is not in the wilderness as such - in fact you can walk to several wineries and restaurants. The view is of olive trees and vineyards and distant mountain ranges - but small ranges - not snow capped mountains. The only wild animals to be seen are kangaroos - certainly no moose or giraffe. Hope this helps!

  • Hello I have just added two logos for you to consider, #26 and #27. The first I have tried to keep as simple as possible yet have a wilderness feel with elegance. The second I have opted for placing a bed beneath a tree grove and stars and added a dove to symbolise wilderness and peaceful sleep. Look forward to getting your comments. Many thanks Ross
  • Dear Ch, I represent designs #18 and #21. please provide valuable feedback thanks and regards abhi
  • Hi again, I also like this one- is there some way we could incorporate the by-line? Cheers, Di
  • Dear CH, Thanks for the feedback. I will be working on that suggestion.Yes, silver would be nice for darker tone of blue.I am working in printing press, I recommend a Metallic Silver (pantone 7544C) for the particular tone when you will use the logo for printing. Actually this silver tone is currently use by a luxury brand of car (MBenz).
  • Hi There - thanks for providing our first entries! I particularly like this design and the way you have wrapped the into the tree. I think we could probably incorporate a second colour tone - perhaps silver? What do you think? Thanks again!

  • Hi there, Thanks for your submission - we really like your design. Two bits of feedback for you- firstly we can only have 5 stars (to reflect the five star quality) - and secondly - is it possible to have an image of the building which looks like the actual building? Thanks again!

  • Hi there - thought I should clarify for you the property is named "Wilderness Grove" because it is within an Olive Tree Grove situated on Wilderness Road in the Hunter Valley - which is a wine growing region in Australia.
  • HI there, Thanks for providing entries to our Logo Design Contest. I just wanted to let you know that your designs have been eliminated based on the the fact that Wilderness Grove is located in a wine growing region of Australia - not a snow capped mountain to be seen I'm afraid. The area is very hot, olives are a warm climate crop (as are grapes). The property is called Wilderness Grove because it is located in Wilderness Road - it is in fact surrounded by Vineyards, Cellar Doors and Restaurants. Hope this helps. Cheers
  • Hi All! Thanks to everyone for submitting entries into our logo design competition. As we are in Australia we work on a slightly different time zone to some of you - so I have just come into the office now and seen all the lovely entries so far. We will be going through today and commenting/rating etc designs - so please don't be offended if we don't reply individually to you. We will however post comments periodically that may assist you in the design process.
