Winning design #31 by leighpayne, Trade Show Swag Design for Redesigning a postcard Contest
Gold Medal

Project description

The contest is almost over I want to clarify what I have come to realize what I want. Refer to the original attached postcard. I want a creative new version of it but keeping the original elements. I just added a word file Street list. It would also be great to direct them to the background where there are streets on or near where they live. The original boring postcard is attached below. I am not a designer and am not happy with the fonts, the colors the contrast. I am trying to communicate in the background that I have sold properties on most streets in Cambridge. So that when homeowners read the background they may recognize their own street or one near them and this may prompt a call. In the foreground is the main message. My design does not excite me. I think that there are ways to do this better. (I do a lot of mailing and am looking for a designer) Changes I want made to verbiage are Line 1(most important): Do you know what your home is worth? line 2: We do. Line 3: Call us for a free assessment. Line 4: For 26 years we have been the Cambridge Multi Family Specialist Line 5: Commissions as low as 3% Line 6 617 876 4242 By the way First two lines are most important. In the background add "Our sales near you" as part of the list in a way that they will notice.

  • Dear Contest Holder, Can't find your existing postcard. Would you mind upload it as a sample. THX
  • #26 sorry after seeing the thumbnail, I made some minor changes
  • #25 This is my first time joining contests in this website, and I am not sure what color schemes you prefer, but I see many people using green and blue which you seem not to have much comments to, so I chose a green background. Please give me some opinions and I would be glad to modify my design.
  • #21, #22 There maybe some typo error. I could correct them as soon as you approved.
  • about #16 I tried something a little diffrent on this one in regards to your comment about finding their street.
  • about #15 The other revision, I hope I understood yo correct, you wanted to see it with out the grass? Let me know if I can do any thing else. Thanks
  • about #14 here is one revision you requested. I have the other one ready with out the grass as well.
  • Hi CH. I am making the revisions you asked. As far as needing the clouds for contrast, yes and no. I need the one for the commission but I can do with out on the other. Could you also be sure to click on you end a request for revision so that I have the extra uploads that I need. Thanks. I will have them to you shortly!
  • Maybe I am wrong about the clouds. Perhaps you need them for contrast
  • The clouds over the verbiage. Leave the upper clouds. Also one with the green on the bottom and one without.
  • I like this a lot. Maybe take out the insects and the clouds
  • about #9 and #13 Hi, #9 was is a home in cambridge, although I am not sure of exactly where. On #13 I used your background. Would love any feedback or if you would like to see something else just let me know!
  • Please note my most recent general comments
  • I just added a word file Street list. Creative designers I encourage you to redo my background. It would also be great to direct them to the background where there are streets on or near where they live. So that when homeowners read the background they may recognize their own street or one near them where we have sold and this may prompt a call. In the foreground is the main message. By the way first two lines are most important.
  • CH: I'm unable to open the file you uploaded. When I click the link it tries to open the file in my web browser instead of downloading. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
  • Also if you could soften it up a little bit. I am not even sure what I mean by that but I like what you did
  • Or alternatively something completely new and different with the background Street list
  • I just added a word doc street list so that the background street fonts can be changed
  • I like what you did. I have just added a word doc street list. So you can redo the background. I am also intrigued by your other idea.
