Sunify

It was an absolute pleasure working with @Syaar on this project. He submitted several good design concepts from the beginning and beat off very strong competition from other designers to win gold. During the finalization phase, his dedication to and enthusiasm for the project was made very clear in his attention to detail, diligence and determination. I would highly recommend this designer. I can't wait to get my new site coded and launched!

Project description

At Sunify, we want the whole world to be powered by sunshine.

Sunify wants to hear from people who own property that could be used to generate solar power. We are interested in generating power on rooftops such as factories, schools, train stations, barns, agricultural greenhouses and hospitals. We are interested in ground-mounted solar opportunities such as green fields and industrial wasteland. We can even float solar panels on water, such as reservoirs, lakes, ponds and disused canals!

The primary goal of our web site is to encourage site visitors to tell us about property they own or manage that could be used to generate solar power. We want them to email us, phone us, sign up to our newsletter, or better yet, fill in one of our questionnaires on SurveyMonkey to register a potential development site with us.

When somebody tells us about a solar power opportunity, we look at the site and evaluate the financial and technical details. We find a suitable developer and suitable investors so the the property owner gets solar power installed at zero up-front cost.

We currently have a logo (white or black background) but we don't have a colour palette, or a font for our headers, or any other visual queues. We need all this to become obvious from your design.

Our brand image needs to be trustworthy but also inspire curiosity and entrepreneurship. It needs to look professional but also friendly and accessible. It needs to be clear, simple and easy to understand. It needs to recognize that solar power is excellent for the environment, but more importantly, it's a financially sound investment, and will put money in our site visitors' pockets. It needs to do all this on a desktop computer and on a smart-phone screen. The brand image needs to be consistent on both media but the layout doesn't have to be exactly the same, of course!

Here are some less well-known web sites that I like:

http://www.inspectivity.com
http://www.aggrego.co.uk
http://www.shelfdrilling.com

However, I would not like the Sunify web site to feel like it's just sitting there advertising our company. I would like our site visitors to feel like they are at the first step of a process....a process in which they tell Sunify about a potential solar power site, and then Sunify will guide them through fully financed development possibilities until they have a functioning solar development on their land.

Well-known brands Skype, Dropbox and Spotify all guide the user to "do" something, not just read about their company. That's what we need. All the pages should try to guide the visitor into filling in a questionnaire on SurveyMonkey or emailing us.

All the pages should make it easy to:
Like us on http://facebook.com/sunifysolar
Follow us on Twitter @SunifySolar
Connect to us on LinkedIn and/or Google+
Email us info@http://sunify.uk

Remember, a lot of companies do solar power installations. The hook with Sunify is that they are fully financed - no up-front cost to the customer.

I have included source files for our logo and some stock imagery that you might want to use (but you don't have to if you don't want to). I have only attached small pictures so if you want the hi-res version please just ask me.
