Project description

I am looking for a talented graphic designed who can design us a website for a financial service provider (investment banking, loan funding, etc.). Most importantly, the design has to have a trustworthy, professional and clean appearance. I value nice typography, high readability and contemporary style. I appreciate clearly structured and elegant web-sites like http://www.notenstein.ch and https://www.vontobel.com/CH/DE/Privatkunden. The purpose of the website is mainly to provide potential clients with information about what the company does and who is behind the company. Other Requirements: • Each page consists of title, content (10-15 lines of text). • One should have the possibility to change font size, print the page. • The Address of the company should always be visible. • Include a non-obtrusive news ticker somewhere • There are no pictures of the people working in the company on the website (But there is a description for each of them) • The web-site will be multilingual: German, French, Italian and English. • Work with images and if possible a consistent theme. I attached some photos, but feel free to use any stock photos or other photos you like. • The logo can be minimalist. Title of the company is “Carrutio Capital” the slogan is “Redefining investment banking”. • There are 4 toplinks, and between 0-8 sublinks, see structure below. If you have other ideas that might be suitable, feel free to go for it! If you have any open questions, please feel free to ask me. Structure of the Website • Home • Our Services (or Services) o Investment Banking o Loans o Service 3 o Service 4 o Service 5 o Service 6 o Service 7 • Our Management (or About Us, Management) o Steven Hand o Jessica Ball o Person 3 o Person 4 o Person 5 o Person 6 o Person 7 o Person 8 • Contact Us

  • Hi CH, Please can you upload your company logo in jpeg, png or psd format. If you don't have any logo yet then please let us know what is the company name. Thanks. Best Regards/WebStar
    • Hi WebStar We don't have a logo yet. The name is "Carrutio Capital” and the slogan is “Redefining investment banking”. Kind Regards

  • Dear CH, I have uploaded my design for your home page. Kindly look at my design #4, #5 and give me your valuable comment on the design. I am ready to do any kind of changes/modification you need. Kind Regards, iNoesis
    • Hi iNoesis Thank you for your designs. For our use, the designs are too colorful and too loud. The website has to be very professional. The website should be subtle and reflect the seriousness of the business. Also it should be more unique - in my opinion, it looks a little bit like a template. Kind Regards

  • Hi CH, I have submitted my 1st design in your contest. Please rate my entry #31, #32, #33, & #34 also feel free to let me know the required changes you need in this design. So that your expectation can be met. I submit two home page(entry #31 & #33) with different image banner & two page showing Drop down effect( entry #32 & #34). Awaiting for your kind comments. Thanks. Best Regards/WebStar

    • Thank you very much for your design. This looks a lot more like what i've had in mind. One important thing: we have nothing to do with notenstein - could you remove all the texts and the name from your design? I like your logo, but it is also possible, that we will just use the name as the logo: Could you upload a design with just the name as the logo? Kind Regards

    • yes sure, i will in minutes,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    • uploaded, let me know after you have any comments on changes Regards

  • please feedback my entry #12 and if you want any change please tell me
    • Hi mohandes Thank you for your design. What would e normal "content-page" look like with your design? Like the other designs, your design is too loud and not unique enough. Kind Regards

  • aki
Hi CH, any feedback for design #6, #7 ? regards Aki
    • Hi aki, I think that your design isn't as loud as the others - that is good. But it is still too colorful and too template-like - it should be a lot more unique and more subtle/noble. Kind Regards

      |--| Hi CH, have submitted revised design #9, #10, #11 Let me know if any changes require.. regards aki

    • Thank you. I think that #11 is the best approach for now. But like I said: it should be more unique...but not unique in a loud way but more in a elegant and subtle way. The website has to represent how professional and trustworthy the company works.

  • Hi CH what about my design #8 can u give me ur opinion ? thnxx in advance
    • Hi Mostafa Please look at the comment that I wrote to the designs from iNoesis. The same goes for your design. Also the font that you where using is too playful. Kind Regards

  • Thank you. Please note: 1. Please emphasize the current page (e.g. color toplink) 2. Increase readability as already stated 3. Move the icons to the content area (not the news area) 4. reduce the number of news articles Thanks!
    • Hi, I have done the changes as per your feedback.Kindly find the revised design #55 & do let me know about your views. Thanks, DDS

    • Hi Thank you for your changes. A few comments: #55 What we like... - Content area a little bit in the picture - Navigation not over the logo What we don't like... - The footer makes the whole thing a little cramped..can you leave the footer away? Further comments: - We think that e mixture of #55 (with the benefits described above) and #60 would be great. The lighter colors (blue) and the picture of #60 are more suitable. Also we are probably just going to use text as the logo. - Could you also make a version with a reddish color as in #35 Thank you!

    • Hi, I have merged my both deigns in to a new one (design # 81) as per the feedback and also created a new concept (Design# 80) . Kindly check all of my efforts & do let me know about your views. Thanks, DDS

    • Hi, I have done the changes in design # 81 as per your feedback.Kindly check it and do let me know about your views, Thanks, DDS.

  • Note for the designs #57, #56, #52, #51, #24 : There is no toplink "About Us".
    • Hi CH, I have deleted the about us link from the toplinks #58 & #59. Please this designs & tell me for further changes. Thanks. Regards/WebStar

    • Thank you! I've eliminated #59 because of the logo. - We think that the footer makes the website look a little cramped. Can you remove the footer? - There is no need for a "slider" in the big picture - The blue you used is a little too loud in our opinion. It should be more subtle and professional. Thank you!

  • Hi CH, Design revised as per your kind comment. In my entry #56 i have change the following things: 1. I changed the header color into blue instead of black. I have added the contact info & address in the left side of the header. 2. I have revised the language section as per your comment. 3. I have changed the logo. 4. I have change the footer area into blue color instead of black also add privacy policy & terms of use links. In my entry #57, I changed the logo in a new style. Other changes as above like #56 I hope you will like this designs, Any remarks please let me know so i can change a revision. Thanks. Best Regards/WebStar
  • Try to be a bit more unique -- it looks just like a copy from webstar. thanks.
  • Hi CH, In my entry #49,#50,#51 & #52 i have made the following changes : 1. I have changed the highlighted text & logo into blue. 2. In the language section i have added the flags with texts. 3. Red button deleted from the image banner. 4. Content area revised in a new style with readable text. 5. Address has been added in the footer with map icon. |--| Thank you for your changes. We like that the navigation is clearly visible and that it looks light yet not overly simple. Still, it is a requirement that the address and contact details is visible to our clients right away (without scrolling to the footer). Also, perhaps it makes sense to whiten the header bar - right now, the dark header makes the design look a bit heavier and not so contemporary. We would prefer if the languages are written out Deutsch for DE, English (EN), Italiano (IT), Français (FR). The logo looks somewhat unprofessional and cobbled up, if you could improve the logo so that it looks a bit slicker we would highly appreciate it. Thanks!

  • Thank you! We like it, but the readability is still poor. Bad contrast and too much content in the content area. Perhaps try to make it a bit lighter. You can also ditch one news entry. Also the logo is competing with the slogan. There are in general too many different font-sizes being used. It's a good start, but the design would needs a bit of a kick to make it look 100% professional.
  • Looks too much like a standard template!
  • Thank you for your proposal! We like the minimalist and clear approach. Room for improvement we see in the typography. There is a bit too much uppercase text, please use it a little less. Also, the print and font-size icons should be placed in the content area instead of in the header bar. Regarding the color, try to use a stronger red and perhaps use it in different places (titles, icons, etc.) to make it more consistent. Please get rid of the twitter, facebook, rss icons. Also, remove the arrows on the image. Apart from that, we like it!
    • Hi bgroehbiel, Thanks for your feedback on my both designs.I have done the changes in design # 35 as per your feedback.Kindly find the revised deign #45 & let me know about your views. Thanks, Desire Design Solutions

  • Thank you for your proposal. We like the contemporary design! Please improve the following: - Increase readability (bad contrast: grey on white as well as little space between the lines) - Move the print, and font-size icons to the content area - Make contact details visible straight away as described in description.

  • Good idea about the navigation - although I think its somehow unnatural to shift the sublinks to the left when the toplinks are to the right. Perhaps you can arrange the sublinks in a more "natural" way directly under the toplinks? Also, it does not make sense to put a button "Contact management team" in the subnavigation there.
  • Thank you for your proposal! We like the colour mix and the professional look. Room for improvement we see: - content area readability is poor (bad contrast, content area small) - News area too big - Put font-size and print icon near main content - Make address clearly visible, don't use a red button. - In general it is lacking a little bit uniqueness. - Use icons for languages
  • We like it! We see the following improvements: - Do not use italic for content text - Do not mix upper and normal case in the same title - Put the font-size, and print icon near the content area - Reduce the number of news articles - make the address more visible - Show us how your design looks like on different resolutions (does it stretch to 100% or has it a fixed width?) Apart from that, we like the colour (looks elegant and trustworthy) and the header design including the navigation.
  • Hi CH, Image banner revised. Hope you like it. Thanks. Regards/WebStar
