Project description

We are in need of a business card that is vibrant and creative. We are having these printed on silk laminated paper, so we need very high quality work. We would like rounded corners. The overall design should be colorful and unique.

UPDATE - October 18:

Please make sure that submissions incorporate a high level of detail. We would like to see some black integrated into the design (possibly used as a background/contrast for our logo). The designs we have seen so far have been very commonplace and overly simplistic.

Entries should have a level of detail consistent with the examples found at the links listed below:

**Please notice how each of these samples has a texture on the card (raised dots, patterns, raised words, etc.). We would like this same feature on our cards.**

  • We do not like the green dots as much as the other colors. Could you try tweaking the color choice? Also, the dimensions for the logo seem inaccurate. It looks too small, and it appears like it was pasted on top of the card. Please look at links that I have posted to get an idea of what we are seeking.
  • Can you please convert the business card to landscape orientation?
  • I would like to see the logo incorporated on the front of the card. I also want a more corporate looking font. Thanks!
  • Hi CH, Thanks for the info. However, for effects as you mentioned these are effects/finishes are only able to be done during offset printing. The texture of the card is based on the paper and your choice of paper is excellent however raised text are a choice between silver foil, embossed, debossed or spot uv that can only be done during printing. What designers do usually is specify to you what is going to have the desired finish from the selected visuals, so that you can discuss with your printer what can be done and not. The designs you see might be plain but the finish applied to the cards would add to the final effect desired. Thanks. Azry
  • For anyone who is looking to make an entry, please read "The Brief" before starting your design. You can also read my message that is posted three spots below this one.
  • In response to the question posted by VCreations... The card should feature the following: 1. Name & Title 2. Address 3. Toll Free and Direct Phone 4. Fax 5. E-Mail 6. Website URL
  • Dear CH, What are the informations you want to appear on your business card? Name? Address? phone??? Thanks.

  • hi Dear CH... i would like to print on matte silk laminate business card and spot uv on the full colour logo. and use silver foil / embossed silver for the white logo and text... thanks...
  • Hi CH, These are 2 options of my design. Just to clarify with you on the size, if it's according to the size given it'll be a bit squarish. However, on the layout you specified is to be in landscape form. My design reflects the corporate colours of infipay and it has a modern look to it. I propose a spotuv finish for the logo units. Thanks. Azry
  • Please enlarge the logo on the back of the card. Look at entry #32.
  • Hello CH, this are my first designs #41,#40, concept is to work with pressed or raised letters or motifs (it can work both ways ). thank's.
  • Hi CH, This is a new design proposal for your card. It's just a suggestion on the creative possibilities for your card. Its a die-cut foldable card in the shape of an infinity. I thinks that it suits your name which has 'infi' in it which relates to the word infinity. I think that cards with odd sizes are memorable enough and if it relates to your company it'll be a keeper. For some understanding on my inspirations, please refer to the website http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/05/100-really-creative-business-cards/. Thanks. Azry
  • Please take a closer look at my notes and the brief. We have some specific parameters that we would like implemented into the designs.
  • Could you please add our address: 17744 Sky Park Circle Suite 270 Irvine, CA 92614 Also, can you move the name and make it level with the logo? We would also like to see the font for the address and phone numbers made larger.
  • Can you also remove the fax number from this one? I would also like to see a slightly larger font for the contact info.
  • Please remove the fax number from the contact information.
  • We still want the logo larger. Can you please make this correction?
  • font size: name : 9pt title, address, phone :7pt web address : 9 pt
  • Can you please enlarge the Infipay logo on the front? We think that it needs to be larger. Also, can you please make the font bigger for the web address listed on the back of the card? Please make sure that you move the name/title, so that it is properly aligned with the logo.
