Project description

The Bevy Story

Once upon a time, there were two mamas.

One mama decided to transition to a stay-at-home-mama but still wanted to use her expertise in project management to earn an income.

The other mama was an executive that needed assistance managing her household and life projects so she could have a better balance of family and work.

These two decided to work together and formed an efficient and lovely partnership.

Over the course of three years, they dreamed up how they could help create more of these partnerships for the mamas in their city.

Bevy was born. These two mamas are working to bring Bevy to your community.

The Project

We need a character to help us bring Bevy to life for our members!!!

Updated with some description from a question I received:

Bevy is a service provider to help people (targeted at moms) to help complete their never ending list of tasks that need completed, and just don't make it to the top of the to do list. So for people that do not have a full time assistant, but would benefit greatly from a few hours a week of project assistance or organization for them or their families - Bevy would provide that service. So there is a relationship built between the member (client) and the service provider, and both individuals are benefiting, one with items of her to do list and another with some part time income.

  • About #24, @torregrossa_j96 really like this one! A couple of modification please. Can you taper the pants, change the shoes to a Bevy red flat and switch out two icons; the clock for a health icon and the clipboard for a blueprints type icon.
    • @lynda1 Thank you! Of course not a problem on the changes, uploading the new versions now. When you get a chance let me know what you think of the new versions so I can make changes accordingly.

  • About #33, @anitaseptiani39 hi! thank you for your entry, could you make the characters faces a bit less cartoon-ish, add sleeves to the Bevy shirt and take the sparkle and the 4 raindrop-types off, please?
    • @lynda1 thank you for your feedback. sure! I will send you the revised version soon :)

  • here's bevy and client. please take alook thanks #34
  • hope you like it :) #33
  • gladly receive any comment thanks #32
  • without shadow #29
  • About #14, @torregrossa_j96
Can you replace ideas of babies with things more in line with a clipboard, or stack of documents, or a house for home management? Also can you remove the second red box behind the Bevy Logo?
    • @lynda1 Absolutely, no problem! I appreciate the feedback. Uploading new versions right now, let me know how you feel about the updated designs.

  • SO close and SO good! On both of your new entries would you make the t-shirt solid Bevy red and ditch the logo, change the background back to white, keep the shadowed circle at the feet and on the other new entry, change the icon color that is being tossed in the air--maybe to white or the Bevy red color, THANK YOU! #18
  • @lynda1 I guess you didn`t notice: you still haven`t answer the actual question, which was "what kind of character it shoud be....cartoonish, realistic, human or animal, how old...etc"
    • @starlightdesign human/realistic/cartoonish, 30-40's

  • would like to see a different outfit: ditch the apron, black skinny jeans, converse style shoes, the t-shirt color changed to either black, white or the red-ish color we provided and the circle BEVY logo on the t-shirt in the upper left of the shirt, instead of the duster she's carrying, maybe an iPad, or just a simple pose like the working woman to the left. Definitely like the start of this one! #7
    • @lynda1
please check my new design at this link:, thankyou

    • @trisna_icirohiro Thank you - we really like this design and the changes you made - but can you make the solid Bevy red color, add back in the grey circle at their feet and the Bevy logo to the side. Also we would a second version with these same two girls with the tasks overhead - almost like tossing them to each other like in design number 14. Tasks we liked would be some combination of icons for documents, cooking, design projects/blueprints?, a calendar or time icon, a clipboard, a health o r wellness icon and something to represent cooking. Thank you!

  • What kind of character are you looking for? Is it human or animal? Should it be realistic or cartoonish? Any other details you can give would be great.

Also, what exactly does "Bevy" do? You've given a vague description of some kind of chore sharing partnership, but your logo says "Bevy wine logo"...

...so what exactly does "Bevy" do?

    • @weiesnbach Thanks for asking - i think it should be human and we are open to realistic or cartoonish. Definitely some whimsy.

    • @lynda1 "...to help complete their never ending list of tasks that need completed...","...project assistance or organization for them or their families..." Help me nail this down, because that's still pretty vague, are you akin to a maid service, or are more of a gopher service, or is it a combination of both? I mean will you schedule meetings, do some typing or data input, or are you picking up the dry cleaning, and making sure dishes are done? I'm not being picky here, I'm trying to get a better understanding of what you do, and that's not coming through in your description. You're almost purposely not wanting to come to that(I think that might be a point), and in order to illustrate a character that can communicate that, I need to know what 'that' is. If I call you up and say, "Hey I'm having a party tonight and need someone to take care of the shopping list...", is that something you would do? Will you pick up the kids from days care? Am I completely off-base here? Tell me. What are some common jobs you would find yourself doing for a client?

    • @weiesnbach thank you for your feedback! don't see you as being picky at all... This is helpful for us to negotiate our communication to the public, so thank you. Will try to embellish more. You're on to the point, in a way. The tasks such as picking kids up from daycare or dry cleaning or house-cleaning are things we would facilitate between the member (our client) and a provider of those specific services. We are akin to a project manager/a little bit of life coaching. Here are some examples of areas of service we can provide. For a member's personal areas of needed help... say they need assistance setting up a shared family calendar because they are always stressed about what kids have to be where and when, etc... we would start with a goals/objectives/assessment meeting and would take a look at what they are currently using as their means of scheduling and do a "clean out" and design and install a new "plan", that could include one of our "Bevy's" assisting/keeping them on track if their budget + goals lead to that, or it could be training them how to do it themselves, or setting them up with Apps or a mix of them... Another area in the personal --- photos/artwork/contacts/paperwork (data) aggregation, we would start with an assessment of our members needs, then give a set of recommendations and solutions, and if they wish for us to execute and manage the entire project or just get them started and check in along the way... It's very targeted to the specific member, we provide a template of services and take it to where our members need. Another example of an area we provide assistance, family meals, we start help them design a new plan and it could include remodeling the kitchen, or installation of organization tools, some of this we could contract out, but we are the point person on the projects. Do they need to find a recommended nutritionist or dietician? We would give them a Bevy-approved source. Are our members moving, downsizing, renovations...? We can help source the best contractors around and help manage the process. Are our members wanting their homes organized? We can help complete that, if construction is necessary, we source the contractors... Are our members wanting to detox their cleaning products and household products and food items? We can set them up with a plan to "ditch and switch" Does this help?

    • @weiesnbach also, we labeled it "Bevy wine logo" because of the color only, haha! sorry if that led to any confusion

  • please check my design...!! #9
