So I'm trashing some entries from my contest (I don't want to see them any more) HOWEVER I think they deserve some type of rating, be it 50, 60, whatever. But then it appears the designer is being given a zero for that design.

Am I expected to leave these designs on my list? I don't want the person to get a zero, but they are not in the running for the win and I don't really want to see it any more.

Help!

The best way to rate these is look at it this way....if the designers style and ideas interest you and you want to see more work rate the design 30 points or more. 30 points is enough to give the designer another entry but low enough to stay at the bottom. If you give yourself a rating bar for example everything rated below 40 points is not in the running but keeps the designer in the game, anything above 40 has some potential and anything above 70 is in the running...this is just an example of how I would do the ratings in my contest.
