When are mock ups allowed?

Hi!

I never participated in other contests besides logo contests.

Is it allowed to present mock-ups in other contests? If, for example, the contest is for a label of a can, can I submit an entry with a simulation of how my design will actually look on the can?

The rules say you can use mockups in "other" category contests (which is the category the snack cans contest is listed in), but not logo contests.

Since its a product lable design, i think it's safe to say that it is no problem placing it on the can, especially that the ch uploaded an image of the can, so you have full rights to use it in the contest.
